Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Hong Kong, this prosperous international city, invites you to step into a creative and vibrant pottery class, explore the charm of Hong Kong-style pottery in the pulse of the city, and start a fashionable creation on your fingertips.

Rich course content: You can discuss the style and form you want with the teacher before class. Local clay is mixed with imported color materials, and students learn how to throw, 3D shape, open holes, expand the bottom, raise and shape the finished product, which is both modern and traditional, showing the diversity of Hong Kong style. Students create Hong Kong-style pottery works by hand in one class, and take away the works after graduation to continue their creative passion.

Small class size and strong faculty: The class size is basically controlled in a small class system, allowing teachers to focus on individuals, and students can also exchange fashion information, collide with unique creative sparks, and the atmosphere is warm. Most of the ceramic artists who teach the course are senior craftsmen. The course adopts a combination of demonstration teaching method, individual tutoring method and cooperative learning method to ensure that every student can get sufficient guidance and improvement, and the high degree of creativity can be realized.

Flexible courses and complete facilities and equipment: The course time is flexible and changeable to match the fast-paced urban life. The venue is usually spacious and bright, equipped with complete pottery-making equipment, including standing and sitting electric pottery throwing machines, clay mixers, clay refining machines, etc., and multiple smart electric kilns with precise and efficient temperature control to meet immediate creative needs and accelerate the birth of works.

As the intersection of Eastern and Western cultures, Hong Kong's ceramics courses combine traditional and modern design concepts, allowing students to comprehend the infinite charm of ceramics in their creations. Experience ceramics courses in Hong Kong, leave behind exclusive memories of Hong Kong, and open up new horizons for art.

An unusual weekend getaway

#weekendgetaways I know a lot of people who won't consider Hong Kong when it comes to weekend getaways. I get it, the place is absurdly expensive. Getting a decent room without breaking the bank tends to be a hassle. Most of all it is just another city. Especially, if you are coming from Singapore and well versed with the possible scope of an urban holiday. However, what works for me besides the easy in and out. Not too long flights and that hong kong is not all that big, this suits a 2-3 night long weekend getaway. I feel the place has character, it's got a vibe and the people are fun. Not so much in the last decade or so with heavy numbers of mainland folks moving in and prices rising even more. But still there is something that Hong kong retains in its soul and spirit. While many would write it off as a lost cause or perhaps lost to the giant next door. I'm still hopeful and positive that the place has much to offer and will perhaps see better days in the future. #weekendgetaways #cityphoto_hongkong #cherryblossom2024 #urbanart #diverse

Hong Kong Airport.

Hong Kong Airport.

Transferred at Hong Kong Airport on the way to Bali for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Because there was plenty of time for the transfer, I wandered around the airport. Hong Kong Airport is super big. After getting off the plane, you need to take the airport subway to transfer. The terminal building is bright, clean, and modern, and there are interesting decorations from time to time. Hong Kong is known as a shopping paradise, and the airport duty-free shop is a good place to buy and buy. In addition to shopping, the airport also has a food court, and a lot of food from all over the world has comforted the travelers. There are also many souvenir shops in the mall area. It is a good choice to bring a gift to family and friends when leaving the port.

Burger’s Friend Forever New Store at Hysan

Hysan's basement has opened many new-style small shops. This time, we are here to try Burger’s Friend Forever, abbreviated as BFF, which offers some unique burgers. If you love burgers, don't miss it😀 Teppanyaki Burger|Fries|Coke Zero The teppanyaki burger feels like a whole cheese lava, very extravagant. The bun is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the patty is juicy, and the crispy waffle fries are freshly fried. The overall combination is great. The store is very considerate, cutting the burger in half so it can be shared by two people. White Wine Clam Pasta|Garden Salad|Truffle Mushroom Soup If two people come to eat, you can have one burger and one pasta. The white wine clam pasta is loaded with clams, so much that you can't count them. Each bite of pasta has several clams, and there are mushrooms too, making it very rich. The set comes with truffle mushroom soup and garden salad. The salad is crisp, and the soup has finely ground ingredients, giving it a good texture. 🛎️Must-try Rating: 8/10🔆 📍Shop B208, URBANHOOD, B2/F, Hysan Place, 500 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay 🅆🄸🄽🄶 🅆🄸🄽🄶 🄿🄸🄶 🄻🄸🄵🄴

Camping, another summervacation

Tai Tan is one of the convenient spot for camping if you want to spend a night outdoors especially for beginners. It is easy to reach by bus 94 from Sai Kung Bus terminal or 96R from Diamond Hill Bus Terminus, get off at Tai Tan bus stop. It has facilities: Pavilion, benches with tables, BBQ pits, toilet and tap water. The camping site itself is spacious. The highlight is the Tai Tan tree walk with about 18 tree species and the major characteristics is the European Pavillion. It would be better to prepare all the stuff you need considering the location. You'll spend quite sometimes to get to nearby convenient store to buy food or drinks. We spent a night, sitting around the barbecue pit while singing some old songs. We really enjoy it. And don't forget to bring mosquito repellent!!! #香港camping #naturelover #本地遊
