From the viewing platform at Wangdao Pool, you can overlook the entire flower sea, with a panoramic view of the undulating rapeseed fields extending to the horizon, a breathtaking sight. Noon: Taste Hanzhong's Specialty Cuisine After exploring Wangdao Pool, you must be hungry. Head to a nearby farmhouse or town restaurant to taste authentic Hanzhong cuisine. Hot Noodles Hot noodles are one of Hanzhong's specialty dishes. They have a soft and chewy texture, served with bean sprouts, cucumber strips, and other side dishes, and topped with spicy oil. Additionally, Chencun has several viewing platforms and photography spots, providing excellent angles for photographers to capture the perfect blend of rapeseed flowers, lake views, and mountains. Hanshan Square From Chencun, head to Hanshan Square. Located at the foot of Hanshan Mountain, Hanshan Square is another excellent spot for viewing rapeseed flowers. Climb to the viewing platform at Hanshan Square, and you will have a wide-open view of the rapeseed flowers covering the hills and fields. In the afternoon, the sunlight shines on the rapeseed fields, making the golden flowers even more dazzling, presenting a dreamy beauty. #springitinerary While most people associate spring with cherry blossom (I did too), it’s easy to forget about the beauty of other flowers blossoming. For example, rapeseed flowers. During my trip to Hanzhong, Shaanxi, I had no idea that Hanzhong was famous for rapeseed flower, nor that it was in the season of blossoming. But thankfully we managed to be reminded and be a part of this once-in-a-year event. There were a handful of rapeseed flower field in Hanzhong. But some of the bigger ones were rather far away, and we were on a rush, so we only went for the one in the northeast of the city, which was pretty enough of an experience for me and my friend.
