Our journey began with a speedboat ride across crystal-clear waters to Maya Bay, famously known as the filming location for The Beach. The moment we arrived, it felt like we had entered another world. Pristine white sand hugged by towering cliffs made for an unforgettable view, and dipping our toes into the gentle waves felt like a dream. Next stop: Viking Cave, a mysterious cavern tucked beneath a limestone cliff. While we couldn’t enter due to its sacred significance, the boat’s proximity allowed us to marvel at its unique beauty and imagine the ancient tales it holds. The day only got better as we cruised to Phi Phi Leh Lagoon, where the emerald water practically begged us to jump in. Floating amidst towering rock formations, we were completely surrounded by nature’s grandeur. Kayaking here was an absolute highlight—every paddle felt like we were gliding through paradise. Then came snorkeling, where the real magic unfolded. Fancy a dip? If you like sun, beach, swimming, bays for days, then Thailand Phi Phi islands is a MUST! I took a solo trip boat tour for 1800 Thai baht for the day to go around the Phi Phi islands and visit Maya Bay. The tour includes snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding, lunch and time to wonder round the islands we stopped at. The men taking the tour on the speed boat were very friendly, played some great music and comforted the young children during points of rough seas. It is about an hours boat trip so sea sick tablets are recommended for the queasy traveler. The temperature was 38 degrees and reapplication of sun cream is necessary to avoid those nasty burn lines! #beachaholic #summervacation #seasidephotoguide #thailand #beachlife

#timetotravel Maya Bay is definitely one of the most wonderful beaches in the world. Exactly as you see on the photos, maybe even better. You can make great pictures easily. Even the beach was pretty crowded at the time we still got to take solo pictures with no people there. It is really beautiful, it is really hot and you can’t drink on the beach. It is well known from the DiCaprio movie. The people are really strict there and you can’t enter in the water more then your knees. But definitely worth seeing it. It was part of our round trip to Phi Phi so definitely recommend going here 10/10.

This is the most amazing experience in my life during Phi Phi Island visit. The tour operator name “Queen Of Andaman” are well organized and most experienced staff going with us. Whole day we have visited multiple island , having lunch , evening snacks and enough water/juice in the big speed boat. Before sunrise we have reached our destination point and safely reached in our hotel at Phuket. Unfortunately Maya Bay was close due govt. restrictions that time. My visiting time was August 2022.
