Sheda11:“We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the “old fashioned house” and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.
We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.”
康泰时:“This museum is a place where people have to punch in. I especially like the oil paintings in the museum. After seeing it, I feel a great enjoyment. The museum is also a favorite place for primary and secondary school students.”
Open today at 09:30-17:00 (admission ends at 16:15)
天羽博士:“It is said that it can be traced back to the famous William Conquest period. It was built to commemorate St. Diego. It took hundreds of years to build and has been around for nearly a thousand years. It is the oldest religious building in the entire Scottish region. It is also a must-see for tourists.”
易茜韵楹:“The Secret Garden, which is closed on Mondays for maintenance, is tucked away behind the old Glasgow tram garage, which is now a great village theatre and has been hosting art exhibitions. There is also a cafe inside and the gardens have Japanese architecture.”
Peggy :“George Square is located in Glasgow city center and is very conveniently accessible by train or subway. On nice days, you can sunbathe and watch pigeons in the square. It is close to the famous shopping street, where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants and eateries to choose from.
George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.”
Emmm_pty:“The environment of the restaurant is very good. The area around is spacious, there are not many people, and it is very quiet. It happened to be a sunny day, so we sat outside, enjoying the sunshine and beautiful scenery, accompanied by delicious food.”
travelererer:“The Gannet is a western restaurant located in a three-story old house. We were lucky enough to sit near the window. The seats are spacious and comfortable. Their dishes are all very exquisite.”
轻轻的一个蚊:“It's been a long time since I had afternoon tea! After sitting on a train for almost four hours, it was almost three o'clock in the afternoon when I arrived in Glasgow. It's afternoon tea time! Let's try what Scottish afternoon tea tastes like.
The name of the store makes people feel inexplicably cute ~ the logo is a little pig chasing a butterfly. The layout of the store is the kind of environment that you imagine a classic English afternoon tea should have. I especially like these lace cups and saucers.
The afternoon tea set is 13.95£ per person. Personally, I think it's enough for two girls to order a set for one person. This store has a lot of tea options, from Black tea to Red tea (Hey, isn't black tea just black tea... What is red tea...?) and then to White tea. In the end, I chose Tung Ting Dolong, a Blue tea. Although I don't know what blue tea is and what is the relationship between Dolong and Oolong, the clerk smiled and said that maybe they just wanted to give it a fancy name hahaha! The color and taste of the tea soup are very light, and it doesn't go well with food.
The sandwiches are large in size, and my favorite is the chicken salad one. The desserts are not very outstanding, and I like scones the most. It seems that this shop likes to make coconut cake very much. Two small pieces are also given when paying the bill.
What impressed me the most was the small dish of pickles. It felt like homemade pickled cucumbers. I usually don’t like pickled cucumbers, but this one didn’t taste too sour because it wasn’t pickled for a long time. Instead, it had a hint of sweetness.”
M32***23:“TriBeCa Café Bar Glasgow West is a bar and cafe with a great environment. The signature dish is the grilled ribs, which are very delicious and tasty! The coffee is also great, rich and tasty!”
TheForkUser:“We enjoyed the ambiance and the fact it was quiet enough to have a conversation. Several people attended to our service. My husband and I had the tenderloin. It was cooked to perfection and very tender.”
噼里啪啦:“This is a restaurant that is highly recommended by local Chinese or international students.
[Service] The owner can speak Chinese.
[Taste] To be honest, it is really great to be able to taste this flavor in a foreign country.”
TheForkUser:“My favourite Indian Restaurant. Food great and so is service. Staff very friendly. Only thing I can criticise is I always find the Restaurant cold. A wee bit more heat would be great please.”
TheForkUser:“Excellent Sunday roast dinner with all of the trimmings. The food, atmosphere and service were all top notch!! A wonderful restaurant to visit for an authentic Scottish experience.”
