| Kanas. I finally made it to Kanas this fall. The golden autumn at the end of September perfectly showcases the beauty of Xinjiang We parked our car at Jiadengyu. Kanas needs to be booked in advance, especially now during the peak season. Tickets are CNY 230 per person We took a shuttle bus up. The scenery along the way at Wolong Bay, Moon Bay, and Fairy Bay is 👌. The beauty of Kanas can't be captured on a phone. It's a paradise for photographers. We took a quick look at Kanas Lake. Unfortunately, we didn't book the Fish Watching Pavilion. The biggest impression this time was that the scenic area was full of elderly groups. Don't young people like autumn in Kanas?

Everyone knows how beautiful Xinjiang is in the summer, but its winter is just as enchanting, like a snowy fairy tale. Enjoy every moment of life in the snowy mountains and the lively atmosphere. Winter Outfit Guide: In November, temperatures range from 5°C to -9°C. As it gets colder, wear a light jacket and a thin sweater. In December, temperatures drop to -10°C to -20°C. Prepare windproof clothing, like a trench coat and a light down jacket. In January, the average temperature is below -17°C. Prepare a thick down jacket or winter coat. February is similar to January, with moderate to heavy snow in some areas and blizzards in the mountains. On windy days, wear windproof clothing. If you're planning to visit Xinjiang in November, here are some tips. Tip 1: Take the Altay and Sayram Lake route. The transition from fall to winter is beautiful in Kanas and Hemu, with yellow leaves covered in white snow. Tip 2: Fly to Urumqi Airport, then drive or take the intercity train to Bole, and rent a car for a more relaxed trip. If you're going to Altay, fly directly to Xuedu Airport. Tip 3: Kanas has a large temperature difference between day and night, and it may snow. Bring a down jacket, thermal underwear, and a windbreaker. Sayram Lake is very cold in winter, and the roads may be icy. Drive safely, or hire a local driver or join a small group. Stay warm, as it's very cold. Tip 4: Book tickets in advance. Stay near Sayram Lake the night before, and enter the scenic area early the next morning. Enter through the east gate and head straight to the pine tree. The sunrise at S Bay is beautiful. Tip 5: Jiadengyu is a service area, so don't confuse it. Many hotels are online, and searching for Kanas will show many Jiadengyu hotels. Check the location carefully. Tip 6: Sayram Lake usually freezes from late December to January, with ice and ice flowers. Tip 7: If you want to see the sunrise or morning mist at Hemu Viewing Platform, dress warmly, as it's cold and dewy. The best way to see the morning mist at Kanas' Three Bays is to walk, as the scenery is beautiful. Wear non-slip shoes for the boardwalks. Kanas Lake is emerald green, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Hemu is a small village with wooden houses. Sayram Lake is blue, with ice flowers in winter. Try Xinjiang's big plate chicken, with tender chicken and flavorful potatoes. The lamb skewers are authentic, and the pilaf is delicious. Xinjiang is very cold in winter, so stay warm.
