Very aesthetic hotel outside of Chengdu. This hotel is located just an hour away from Chengdu . It is called Hiti Alruo Resort in Dayi and it is near Ancient Anren Town. I highly recommend a weekend trip just to breathe and relax, this place is fancy and you can book a room with a soaking tub.The facilities are top class, everything is just oitstanding in my opinion. Our friends just treated me and my husband for a weekend getaway and we were surprised how beautiful the surrounding area is. The hotel offers a free flow beer from 16:00-17:00 so we had a good late afternoon drinks just right before dinner. We opted to go eat out for dinner as we wanted to try the local food. The breakfast is also good. You can easily book this hotel here on trip.com.. It isn't cheap though but if you really wanna treat yourself for a good and relaxing place to stay in while in Dayi then this hotel is the best one for you.. We really enjoyed our stay here. This private hot spring homestay is located in Dayi County, my hometown. I could never book it before, and there are no rooms available for this weekend or the next; you almost have to book nearly a month in advance. I happened to see an opening and immediately made a reservation. The location is very good, very close to Anren Ancient Town, Liu's Manor, and Jianchuan Museum. In the evening, it's less than a 10-minute walk to Tianfu Street Winery Restaurant for dinner. There is a parking lot at the entrance of the homestay, with a Tesla charging station. The lobby is the Yanjiyou Bookstore, where you can sit and read. The architectural style of the courtyard is Huizhou architecture, with a standalone unit for each guest ❤Recommended reasons: . ✅The location is very convenient, especially close to the train station, just 300 meters away on foot, and right below is the subway station, making it super convenient to check out popular spots!! Direct subway access to Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, Kuanzhai Alley, and the Panda Base. This location is simply made for tourism. ✅The design has a great vibe. Playing in the snow and soaking in hot springs, both adults and children had a great time. Here's a super detailed guide! 🚗Itinerary Day 1: Huashuiwan Hot Spring Hotel → Relaxing Check-in and Leisure Time We drove from Chengdu 🚗 and arrived at Huashuiwan Hot Spring♨️ First Village in about 1.5 hours. We chose a hotel at the foot of the mountain, which cost around CNY 300–400 per night, offering great value for money. There are various small shops and delicious food nearby, and we could take our child for a stroll and enjoy the food in the evening. We went during the Lantern Festival, and there were fireworks. Day 2: Xiling Snow Mountain → Snow Carnival 🚗It takes about 30 minutes to drive from Huashuiwan to the scenic area parking lot. 🎫Ticket Prices: • Scenic Area Ticket + First Cable Car (Yuanyangchi) + Shuttle Bus (Yingxue Square): CNY 240 • Second Sightseeing Cable Car (Riyueping): CNY 160 • Free for children under 6 years old or under 1.2 meters tall 🛠️Equipment: Make sure to prepare hats and gloves for both adults and children to keep warm! Super comfortable hot spring hotel~
It's a one and a half hour drive from Chengdu, at the foot of Xiling Snow Mountain, Huashui Bay. The most distinctive feature here is the hot springs, which you can soak in both summer and winter. There are hot spring hotels everywhere in Huashui Bay, we chose Howard Johnson, which looks the most expensive but is very worth it! Now it's peak season and the prices are high, after comparing multiple platforms, we finally booked 699, including one night in a mountain house (cover photo), two hot spring tickets, one special soup pot for dinner, and two breakfasts. We also got a free upgrade to a superior room when we checked in, the room was spacious and bright, with a great view, and they kindly sent us some small desserts and fruits. We stayed here for one night and one morning, and it felt really comfortable, with few people, safe, quiet and cozy. The hot spring pool is in the woods behind the room, you can go there in the bathrobe from the room. There are seven or eight pools in the hot spring area, each with different sizes and temperatures, and there were only two or three people in each pool when we went yesterday. For dinner, we chose the special soup pot, Xueshan Bamboo Shoots and Local Chicken Soup, which was delicious. After it boiled, we drank two bowls first, and the dipping sauce was very fragrant, we thought it was because we were lucky to have made it, but the second bowl tasted even better! Guys, I've found a hidden gem! It's Mount Xiling Snow Mountain, just 2 hours' drive from Chengdu, and it's absolutely stunning! 🚗 It's super convenient to get there, with direct buses, shuttles, high-speed trains, and self-driving options. You can book tickets on the official WeChat account, which is super easy. Once you enter the scenic area, take the cable car and then transfer to the shuttle bus to reach Yingxue Square. The rime on the Rhododendron Trail is like a painting, and I felt like a fairy as I strolled through it. 🧚♀️ Yingxue Lake is half ice and half water, with snow-capped mountains in the background. The buildings by the lake look like a fairytale town in Northern Europe, and it's the perfect spot for photos! The summit of Riyueping is even more breathtaking, and the sea of clouds at the Daxuetang Observation Deck left me speechless. The little animals are also incredibly cute. Getting There - 2 hours by car from Chengdu, need to take cable car up to the mountain Attractions - Xiling Ski Resort Hotels - Scandina Hotel Food & Restaurants - Xiling Ski Resort Shopping - Xiling Ski Resort Xiling Ski Resort is located in Sichuan Province and around 2 hours by car from Chengdu city. Once you arrive in Xiling, you will need to take a cable car to access the mountain and it costs ¥120 round trip. Once up in the mountain, everyone need to take a free bus that bring to Xiling Ski Resort. We chose to stay at Scandina Hotel that is up in the mountain, so it means we needed to carry our bags until we reach the hotel that is 5min walking from the bus station. We left our big luggage in Chengdu and only brought skowboard clothes, boots and helmet with us to Xiling, I reccomend you travel light if you also choose to stay in the hotel up in the mountain. Speaking about Scandina Hotel, it is the best considering it’s location, specially if you like to wake up early and go snowboard/ski on the first time in the morning, because you save the time of queuing and taking the cable car from the bottom of the mountain. But the staff is not really helpful and not prepared to receive foreign guests. Also meals are not great, there is only chinese food and quality is not good, but you don’t really have many choices around. Speaking about the Ski Resort, me and my husband already snowboard and we had our equipments, but you can rent all there! There are lots of kids and families that actually go to plan in the base and not go up to the mountain and do sports. There are not many Medium/Advanced trails and they are very short, in the end we spent more time in the lift than actually enjoying snowboarding.
