Roadtripping From Sanfranisco - Seattle
One of my most unforgettable trip is doing a solo road trip from San Francisco up towards Seattle. It is one of the longest drive I ever did, with a total of almost 13hours that is if u drive straight. Well it took me 2 days, a 8 hour drive on the first day and another 6 hours the next. Solo driving on a trip like this can be really tiring but it can be enjoyable too if you plan it right! From San Francisco I did a stop over in a small town called crescent city which I had a short night stay overlooking the sea to relax myself for the next day. And the scenery can also be quite beautiful if you take the time to stop and look around. And if you like the cold weather plan your trip closer to winter but not in Feb - March as it can be really snowy and icy which some roads might possibly be block too! The art garden was completed in 2012 and was established to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Seattle Center, the main venue of the 1962 World Expo. The entire exhibition is divided into indoor and outdoor parts. It takes about 2 hours to visit. The outdoor part is particularly interesting, where there will be glass making demonstrations. I was fortunate to watch the 2:30 pm glass turtle demonstration. The craftsman carefully made it while explaining it carefully. The process was like a magic show, which was fascinating. The indoor part is equally exciting. Various glass artworks reflect dreamlike light under the light, and each one seems to be telling Chihuly's unique art story. When the tour is nearing the end, don't miss the souvenir shop at the exit. There are a dazzling array of characteristic souvenirs, each of which is full of artistic flavor and is irresistible.
