I finally fulfilled my dream of camping on the island and sea fishing before the high temperatures hit 🎣! 🚗 For transportation: I strongly recommend driving to Shipu Pier 🚗, taking a boat around nine in the morning, with the journey taking about 3 hours 🕙. For those who get seasick, remember to take motion sickness medicine in advance 💊, or choose a seat near the stern of the boat 😉. If you're taking a high-speed train, you'll need to transfer to a bus directly to Shipu at Ningbo Station 🚌. The Ninghai Passenger Transport Center is very close to the high-speed train station. I took the 12:30 bus, which only cost 30 yuan. After arriving at Shipu Port, we booked a hotel for the night to rest. Of course, you can also choose to take a taxi, but it will be more expensive. The fishing boat costs 500 yuan per person for a round trip. Remember to bring seasickness medicine because it takes three hours. Once the port is repaired, you can take a ferry. 🛏Accommodation and Dining: It is best to contact the homestay owner before going. They are really super considerate and can help arrange many things. Since the port is not yet repaired, they will help arrange fishing boat transfers. If you want to go sea fishing, diving, or find a camping site, you can ask them. From Dongsha Beach to the Asian Sailing Center, it's a 7.5-kilometer walk along the seaside plank road, which is quite comfortable when it's not raining. 2. Since it's a free scenic area, there are basically no shuttle buses, so be prepared to walk. If you really can't walk anymore, you can rent a four-person electric cart or a two-person bicycle at the parking lot and Dongsha Beach area. 3. Dining places are concentrated around Baisha Beach.
