The owner is a very, very thoughtful man from Northeast China. Seeing that I was a young woman and worried I wouldn't be able to carry my luggage, he offered to help me carry it upstairs. He's available 24/7 by phone. The location is excellent; it's just a short walk to a taxi stand and very close to the Starlight Night Market, only a few turns away. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area. I mentioned I'm a light sleeper, and he kindly arranged a very quiet room for me on the far side – truly a peaceful oasis. I also rented their electric scooter, and the owner charged it for me every night, so I didn't have to worry about it at all. It was fully charged when I woke up, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Traveling with such kindness made me feel so warm and cared for. Thank you, Uncle! This experience has further enhanced my positive impression of people from Northern China.

The staff was very nice and even picked us up from the street (the taxi cannot enter the old town, you have to walk for a bit, which is totally fine).The staff even helped us carry our luggage (see the picture). They then greeted us with a selection of local tea and were very friendly. They also advised us on how to prepare for the Yulong Xueshan day trip, when to leave, etc. The room is very cute and their terrace has an amazing view. I would definitely stay there again.

By chance, I booked a stay at the Meishan Inn in Dali Ancient City and ended up staying for 4 days. The entire trip was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. The Bai minority-style courtyard is truly charming and unique. The inn manager was attentive and thoughtful, and the facilities were well-equipped. The room was clean and tidy, and the inn's breakfast was absolutely delicious. The courtyard boasts beautiful flowers and scenery, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling surroundings, yet its excellent location makes getting around very convenient.

Took my mom out for a trip and saw Aling's live stream on Douyin. She came across as very practical, genuine, and unpretentious, so we decided to stay for a few days. Overall, it was a really good experience. As soon as you enter the courtyard, there's a water feature with koi fish, which gives a vibrant and lively feel. The two young men working there were incredibly attentive and patient in answering our questions, and their demeanor was very refined. We also had the good fortune to meet a compatible travel couple, Sister Liu and her husband, at Aling's place. It felt like such a serendipitous encounter for people from the north and south to meet here. In the evening, we gathered in Aling's courtyard to chat, drink tea, and share our travel experiences. It was truly delightful. Thank you, Aling, for bringing us all together!

The room was a bit small, but the view was unbeatable! The service was incredible! Super highly recommend. There were four of us traveling with a lot of luggage. As soon as we arrived, five strong men came and carried a suitcase each on their shoulders. Later, the owner's recommendations for bars and restaurants were all delicious, and they responded instantly to any questions we had – absolutely no duds. From the room, you could see a panoramic view of the ancient city, and on a clear day, you could even see the snow-capped mountains.

If you're visiting Lijiang's Shuhe Ancient Town, you absolutely cannot miss the amazing Guanxin Inn! The environment here is beautiful, with lush greenery in the courtyard and fresh air that instantly helps you relax. The bedding in the rooms is exceptionally comfortable – a good night's sleep here will leave you feeling completely refreshed! The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; no matter what you need, they'll help you out, making you feel as warm and welcome as if you were at home. Step outside the inn and you can immediately experience the ancient town's unique charm and leisurely pace of life, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation and capturing some great photos! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and immersive experience of Lijiang's culture!

The most therapeutic night I spent in Lijiang was, without a doubt, at Jushe. The courtyard, enveloped by lush greenery, perfectly shielded us from the hustle and bustle of the old town streets. The moment I stepped in, my heart found instant calm. In the evening, the thoughtful housekeeper delivered warm and comforting sweet soup, its gentle sweetness easing the fatigue of the day's travels. The next morning, there was no rush to get up and hit the road; a short walk led me to the stunning sight of the 'Sun-Kissed Golden Mountains,' offering expansive views and captivating scenery. During my leisure time, I leisurely strolled to the old town, weaving through unique shops brimming with local charm, experiencing Lijiang's unique tranquility. For those driving, there's no need to worry at all, as a dedicated parking area makes it convenient and stress-free. The entire guesthouse is serene and peaceful, devoid of any noise or commotion. The soft and comfortable living environment gently smoothed away the accumulated weariness of the journey, allowing me to slow down and savor the relaxed pace that is uniquely Lijiang's.

This was truly a unique experience! The price was great, the environment was lovely, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk lady meticulously explained how to see the 'sunrise over the golden mountains' and how to explore Lijiang. The best part? The guesthouse owner turned out to be from my hometown in Chongqing, and even our neighbor! What a small world, you couldn't make this up. We drank tea in the afternoon and had drinks together in the evening – they were so incredibly hospitable! 😍 Next time I'm in Lijiang, I'm definitely staying here again. The guesthouse has a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk to the center of the old town. The owner was incredibly welcoming, offering to help with luggage and providing travel tips. Environment: I had no idea I'd be able to see snow-capped mountains before I arrived! It's absolutely stunning here!! The weather has been fantastic these past few days! Service: When we arrived at the ancient town entrance in the evening, the hotel staff had a tuk-tuk 🛺 to help with our luggage 🧳. Cars aren't allowed inside the ancient town, so this service was very thoughtful 💕. Breakfast: The breakfast here is truly excellent!! For main courses, they offer specialty rice noodles and wontons, and even as a late riser, I went down at 10:00 AM and there was still plenty available! The portions are so generous they could double as lunch! Absolutely delicious! Room: The bed is so comfortable, I felt like sleeping the moment I lay down 💤! The front desk lady is also very lovely, her voice is so soft and sweet, and her service is very attentive!
