The Gasthaus Bärmann Hotel Restaurant is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Gasthaus Bärmann Hotel Restaurant offers a pleasant stay in Contwig for those traveling for business or leisure. The hotel is conveniently located just 600m from Contwig and 6km from Zweibruecken Airport. With multiple attractions nearby including Tennis-Club Contwig e.V., SV Palatia Contwig 1920 e.V. and Wasserspielplatz, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate.
The boss Machel is very enthusiastic, the hotel is clean and tidy, the air in the morning is fresh, the vineyard behind it makes the mood quiet, and the scenery of the riverside cabin is pleasing to the eye.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were nice. It is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. They will give you a free drink coupon if you are willing to pass on your room being cleaned each morning. This is great because the only negative thing about the hotel is that the train station is the closest place to get coffee or food. It’s not far, but it is better if you can have coffee right after waking up.
It was right next to Mainz Central Station, so it was easy to find even though I arrived at night. The breakfast was delicious, and it was in a great location for walking around. The interior of the hotel was also clean.
Good business hotel is very well located on the highway. But also close enough to all important. Locations in kaiserauern reach quickly and conveniently. 5 Euro per night cost parking at the hotel own parking right in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, no loading infrastructure for electric vehicles. Something damage and very briefly thought especially since the hotel is quite new. The rooms are functional and very clean and the reception is occupied 24 hours
We actually really enjoyed everything. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The waiters kept refilling everything, and the tables were clean.
If there were anything to complain about, I would say the toilet seats in the bathroom were too small and the shower curtains were way too high, so the entire floor got wet when we showered. A squeegee would be nice.
The bus stop is right in front, so it was easy to get to Mainz Central Station. It's close to the center, so you can walk to everything. The room was clean and nice. The water pressure was really strong.

JJoanna AssadHotel location is excellent, just a short walk from train station (slightly downhill) and close to old city center / touristy areas and farmers market on Saturday. Rooms are basic but very clean. Air conditioner is great, especially during the hot summers. Towels slightly old, but very clean - everything is changed daily. Bathroom again is basic, amenities are only body shampoo / shower gell - so if you need additional items (eg cotton buds, shower cap, etc.) then bring your own. Breakfast selection is not bad. Hotel design is modern / compact. Closets are open, which is great - gives the room more space and less likely to leave anything behind in the hotel. Beds are flexible: two wins which can be passed apart or together, as needed. Pillows, sheets and blankets are very comfortable. Service is good - the front desk person was new, but the manager was on hand immediately to resolve any issues. There is parking behind the hotel - but not many spaces, so you will need to be early to get a space, or lucky. Highly recommend this budget hotel - especially if you are traveling by train.
GGuest UserI think this Koblenz Hotel has a very good value for money. It is cheap, close to the train station, the room is spacious, the front desk service is very good, luggage storage is supported, and it is not too far from the city center. The only problem is that the elevator button seems to be not very effective. Overall good review
GGuest UserIt was right next to Mainz Central Station, so it was easy to find even though I arrived at night. The breakfast was delicious, and it was in a great location for walking around. The interior of the hotel was also clean.
GGuest UserService was absolutely first class from email contact before arrival, help with a luggage issue upon arrival , checking out, and everything in between. All staff were really lovely and helpful and always smiling!
Food was perfect and the restaurant staff were really engaged with us, recommending items from the menu and perfect wine to accompany the food. Prices were very reasonable too.
This was my second trip to the Mercure in Koblenz and I will definitely be back. Even as a lone female traveller, I felt very comfortable which is a huge benefit to enable enjoyment of the whole trip.
MARVELLOUS, thank you
MMyraLocation was great! Just across the Road the Porta Nigra, from the Hotel room for sure you can have the nice evening view of it! Breakfast Buffet was perfect! City Center just after crossing the Porta Nigra, walking distance almost to all Tourists spots!
MMing ShiThis hotel is located on the opposite side of the rail tracks, Hbf, or the Altstadt, making there will be challenging for those don't like 15mins walking, and especially if you have a lot of luggages or if it's raining/snowing. Maybe it's catered for tour groups or people driving. My room is located on the ground floor, which looks on the plan are mostly the wheelchair accessible rooms (shower toilet bigger than the bedroom). Not much amenities so be sustainable and bring your own. Self-service buffet, not luxury, but adequate for the day. Staff are polite and helpful.
GGuest UserThe hotel was aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained, with good services including breakfast and complimentary snacks. Staff were extremely helpful and polite, and a member of staff was on hand at reception to check me in even though I arrived late in the evening. My room was huge and amazing value, and was set up for me beautifully. The location, while not central in Mainz, was reasonably well-connected to the city centre via public transport -- the bus stop was a ten-minute walk downhill from the hotel through very pretty neighbourhoods with regional charm.
GGuest UserThe hotel is beautifully decorated with a sense of history. The rooms are very beautiful. The welcome wine, sherry, is delicious. There are a variety of free drinks in the refrigerator. The restaurant breakfast is very good. It is also recommended to try lunch and dinner in the restaurant. The dishes are very good. I ate local snails with dry white wine, which was delicious! The hotel has its own garden where you can take some sunset photos. The location is on the mountain. If you need to take a taxi or drive yourself to check in your luggage, the winding mountain road is a bit far. Backpackers can take the small road up the mountain, which takes about 15 minutes. Although it is hard, it is still worth staying.
