This was our third stay at the Copthorne and have always enjoyed it.  Very comfortable and friendly front of house staff. The big let down is mould and dirt on the floor around the outside of the shower wall.

Hotel in great location close to the TSB arena and Te Papa. Closed to shops and restaurants. Room was clean, beds are very comfortable but pillows very uncomfortable, lumpy, old. Excellent selection for breakfast

We had a very pleasant family stay at Novotel Wellington. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our family, and the two double beds were very convenient. The hotel is in an excellent location, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were well maintained. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience and would happily stay here again.

The location is quite convenient, there are many restaurants around the building, especially many Chinese restaurants. The transportation is also quite convenient, the overall environment is quite clean, and the facilities are quite complete.

Excellent! It's clean and the facilities are quite new. Getting around is convenient; it's a 15-minute Uber ride to the airport for 120 RMB. You can also discuss extending your stay by an hour or two with the front desk. The breakfast is good too. There are Japanese ramen, steak, and Vietnamese restaurants nearby, so Chinese diners won't have any trouble finding food.

The room is actually not as big as the picture, but the sanitation is very good. The front desk is very friendly and always provides the help you need. On the first day, I gave me a map of the city. After 2 days, I measured the seaside streets and piers with my feet. It is even more friendly for passengers taking the Airport Express AX. Under the intersection of Manners Street and Willis Street, walk south on the right hand side of the uphill road. Tea and coffee tubes are enough, and chocolate. I can't drink coffee anymore, I drink chocolate, and the hotel also prepared a large cup for me intimately. Very close to Cuba Street, in fact, not far from where to go. When I left, Beth happened to be off work, went home and drove BYD, took me to the airport, and turned a corner to see the filming place of the Lord of the Rings. Really friendly. If I go to Wellington again, I will definitely choose their home.

The room had multiple areas of built up dust that hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the shower had some mould in the corner and lots of soap scum around the bottles. The silicone holes in the shower head were all cracked and so the water dribbled down. I could also smell the drain. The additional windows installed (appreciate the building is historical) didn’t shut tight, which is a big problem in a windy city. The wind was howling through the window gaps when they were fully shut. Assume they were done as cheaply as possible. I was also a few doors down from the staff room, so I heard very frequent door slamming in the mornings which woke me up as it shook my door frame. There’s no way I’d be paying for full price for this hotel, but for a 50% off deal it was fine. The location is unbeatable and the bed was really comfortable. The room was a good size too.

Location: Excellent. The restaurant offers direct sea views, and it's only a 5-minute walk to the Wellington logo and a large supermarket. Service: No one helped with luggage. Facilities: The washing machine in the room was broken, and the staff seemed helpless about it – it was truly awful, as I booked this hotel specifically for the convenience of doing laundry. The air conditioner in the bedroom is a Mitsubishi wall-mounted unit, which is incredibly noisy and blows directly onto one of the beds, making it impossible to sleep. It gets quite cold if you don't turn it on at night. Cleanliness: The lighting in the room was a bit dim, but otherwise acceptable. However, every time I picked up a plate or cup at the restaurant, there were small black particles of dust floating on them. Breakfast: Each person can order one main dish. On weekdays, the buffet selection is limited, but it's much richer on weekends with several hot dishes.

Stayed two nights in Wellington and overall, it was quite good. 👍 The front desk is on the 7th floor, and most rooms are on higher floors, offering nice views. The room was reasonably spacious and had heating, which was really helpful in early winter. Breakfast is on the 6th floor and had a decent variety. The only downside is that you have to go up a flight of stairs from the street to get to the hotel, which isn't very convenient for guests with large luggage. Sometimes the escalator next to the street isn't even working, so you have no choice but to carry everything up.

Great spacious room, perfect for families. The bathtub was an added bonus I love that you can get Netflix and Disney Great breakfast lots of variety. Only disappointment was that the pool and spa are no longer an option being an extra plus on a rainy day with the kids but overall didn't diminish a positive experience.
