Zulal, in Arabic, means the purest natural spring water, a word unfamiliar to many, even to the locals in Doha.
It is far from the hustle and bustle of the city, a nearly one-hour drive, already at the end of Doha, and further ahead is Bahrain.
Upon check-in, the concierge first took me into a meditation space based on a large stone base to clear the negative energy from my body, and then an Arab waiter served a pot of Chinese tea with a spoonful of natural white honey.
This white honey can only be collected from the queen bee, it is very precious, and it accompanied my breakfast every day, each taste, the silky sweetness can make me happy all day.
Finally, the concierge led me into the consultation room, where a professional medical guide made a detailed wellness plan for me.
The hotel does not sell rooms, only treatment courses, the minimum is the four-day three-night course I chose, and there are also options for seven, ten, fourteen days, etc.
My daily life mainly shuttles between the room, restaurant, and wellness space.
My room faces the sea, and in the morning I will see flocks of flamingos in the middle of the sea.
But these birds are still small, not as fiery red and bright as the mature birds in July and August, they are still pure white at this time.
When I walk, meditate, and do yoga in this sea area, my fans and friends at home and abroad are amazed, what a secluded place this is, no one believes it is in Qatar, they even dare not believe that this is a scenery that Arab countries can have.
The hotel has three restaurants, one is Arabic food, one is Thai food, and one is fine dining, just right for three nights and three meals.
The Arabic restaurant is mainly buffet, the taste is not suitable for Chinese stomach, but as long as there is white honey for breakfast here (laughs).
The reason for Thai food is that Zulal's parent brand chiva-som is a high-end wellness hotel from Hua Hin, Thailand, so it provides very high-quality Asian taste.
Fine dining restaurant only opens for dinner, the ingredients are mostly seafood, lobster scallops, each dish clearly marks the calories, calories, and sugar content, both delicious and healthy.
The wellness space is the most important part of the hotel's wellness program.
From basic essential oil spa, to private guided physical rehabilitation, even traditional Chinese medicine cupping acupuncture and Indian Ayurveda are also available.
The space is divided into male and female guests, which is related to the customs of Muslim countries, even group exercises, also separate men and women.
The biggest surprise for me is the steam room, other hotels' steam rooms are hot, here is cold.
Not only is there cold air, but even the icy and snowy environment has been brought to the tropical Middle East, as soon as the door is opened, the cold air is pressing, and walking in barefoot is actually stepping on the soft and bone-chilling snow!
It is said that this cold steam can accelerate blood circulation, make the skin tighter, and improve blood sugar, but unfortunately I am thin and weak, every time I can't stay for a minute and rush out to jump into the warm water.
This may be a very special trip in my life.
