This villa offers a beautiful ocean view. I visited on a weekday with five friends for workcation. The spacious work space and fast Wi-Fi helped me get work done, and I also enjoyed the sauna and delicious food. While enjoying a drive on Awaji Island, I stopped by "Bentendo". This is a sweets shop that specializes in takeout. The interior of the shop has a simple and stylish atmosphere. And the display case is lined with delicious looking sweets. I couldn't decide what to buy, but I bought a mille-feuille, an eclair, and a cream puff and went home. But! I couldn't resist and took a bite of the eclair in the car (lol). The crust was crispy and super delicious! And the mille-feuille, which I was most looking forward to, was also exquisite, with a generous amount of creamy custard cream sandwiched between the crispy crust. Hyogo Prefecture in January 𓂃 ✍︎______________________________________📍S.CORRIDOR It's been a while since I last visited Awaji Island There are many villas with ocean views on Awaji Island, but this one just opened last fall As soon as you enter there is a spacious counter kitchen, and it's fun to wonder which plates to use. The kitchen is also more complete than any other villa. Next to the kitchen is a courtyard where you can enjoy the outside breeze and have a BBQ (the owner runs a famous yakiniku restaurant in Kyoto, so if you book a BBQ as an option, the meat is delicious). Next to it is the living room, where a projector and a switch are provided. Going up the stairs to the second floor are the bedrooms and bathrooms. There are three bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 people. The mattresses were embedded so I was able to sleep comfortably and see the stars⭐︎The stylish bathroom is fully air-conditioned and the bathtub is small, but I'm so happy that there is an open-air bath. There is one toilet on the first floor and one on the second floor, which is very convenient◎The air conditioning was also quite good, and since it was winter, I didn't see any bugs◎Please bring your own bedding. There was ice, Haagen-Dazs, several types of drinks, cup noodles, and Starbucks coffee in the refrigerator◎ The building must have cost a lot of money, but I think the price is reasonable, so I highly recommend it. Yushikoku was converted from a red brick warehouse and is full of nostalgic atmosphere. This time we came during lunch time, there were not many people, only a few tables, and it felt more comfortable to sit in the spacious red brick building. The restaurant uses local ingredients from Awaji Island. Because Awaji Island is rich in onions, the signature dish is Awaji Island beef rice bowl. However, I didn't order it. The grilled conger eel at Uomasu Fresh Fish Shop on Awaji Island is very delicious. You must try it when you come to Awaji Island. This time I went to Xingfu Pancake and passed by "Yu Zeng Fresh Fish Shop" on the way. Even on weekdays around 2pm, there are always Japanese people coming, all of them are here to buy grilled conger eels. Maybe because it was already afternoon when we arrived, the conger eels had already been grilled and the workers were packing up the grilling utensils. Awaiting Hanasajiki Awaji Hanasajiki is a flower theme park located on Awaji Island, famous for its brightly colored flower fields. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing that only a small part of the flower fields had beautiful flowers blooming. Instead, you can buy souvenirs at the direct-sale stores within the park. Awaji Island is located between the main island of Japan and Shikoku. Awaji City has the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge to and from Kobe. Depart from Kobe and enter Awaji Island through the Akashi Strait. Kamenoi Hotel Awaji Island is a traditional Japanese-style inn offering one night and two meals. Located on the hill, with a superb sea view. The hotel provides traditional Japanese Yukata robes, which can be picked up in different sizes at the lobby. The hotel facilities show that the hotel has a history, but the hotel rooms seem to have been renovated. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is clean and comfortable. Dinner was a traditional Japanese dinner. The dinner was delicious and the last dessert was orange jelly. 😋😋😋The most unexpected thing is the free noodle soup starting at 9pm. I was a little hungry after soaking in the hot springs, so a thin bowl of noodles was just right. The texture of the noodles is similar to wonton noodles, like a bowl of non-spicy dandan noodles, and it tastes very good. Breakfast is a buffet in two sessions. Hyakudanen Garden in Awaji Island I saw an Instagram photo and decided I wanted to visit Awaji Island, so I went there during the Silver Week holidays in September. The flower bed was designed by architect Tadao Ando. There are 100 flower beds, making use of the mountain slope.
