Bagno Vignoni - Tuscany on the Road 🚗
It's a gem in a breathtaking landscape, in the heart or Val d'Orcia natural park.
The main road will lead you towards the center where instead of an usual main square, you'll have a large pool, the iconic rectangular tub source of natural thermal water, called Piazza delle Sorgenti (Springs' Square).
And just below the tiny center you'll be able to reach Parco dei Mulini, built in the 12th century, still actively feeding the numerous spa facilities surrounding the town and where you can freely treat yourself in the bath dug.

A driving trip to the Val d'Orcia: Introducing the spectacular sights we visited in one day
#EuropeStrategy
The schedule for the second day of the GW Orcia Valley Drive Trip is now revealed!
Because it was a national holiday, the tourist spots were very crowded! Therefore, we didn't go to any big towns and decided to enjoy nature.
⏰6:00
Early morning visit to the spectacular view spot of Orcia Valley.
This place is popular, so we aimed for a time when there were no people.
In order to get there, we chose a lodging about 20 minutes away.
First view spot
Unnamed Road, 53041, 53041, Asciano SI, Italy
⏰8:00
Back to the lodging and breakfast.
⏰10:00
📍viale di cipressi
SS2, 53023 Castiglione d'Orcia SI, Italy
A popular cypress spot. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded here.
⏰11:00
To Bagno Vignoni
This is a small town with a few restaurants and souvenir shops.
The scenery of the cute buildings surrounding the small pond was wonderful, but
we weren't hungry so we just had a drink and left!

📍Cipressi di San Quirico d'Orcia
D'orcia, San Quirico d'Orcia SI, Italy
This is a very popular spot, but on the first day we gave up because of the traffic jam! We finally went on the second day. It was about a 15-minute walk from the area where we parked on the street.
⏰5pm
At night, we returned to the inn, had dinner, and relaxed.

Italy - The small town of Bagno Vignoni in Tuscany
◾️Bagno Vignoni
This charming little town features a few restaurants and souvenir shops scattered around. The picturesque view of cute buildings surrounding a small pond is truly delightful. Interestingly, the town is home to a natural hot spring. However, the water is lukewarm, making it feel more like a pool than a traditional hot spring. The water is cloudy and white, which might not be very inviting to touch, but many people were swimming in it 😂😂. Since it's outdoors, proper swimwear is required!
Although I had high expectations, the hot spring turned out to be a bit disappointing 😂 (I didn’t go in, of course).
While the hot spring might not be impressive, the town itself is adorable and a great spot for lunch. The restaurants are generally on the pricier side, so they’re more suited for a proper meal rather than a casual café visit.
We weren’t very hungry, so we just had drinks and left!
There’s a free parking lot available, so if you have some extra time, it’s worth visiting this quaint town.
