All Trip Moments about Bainbridge
The feeling of Seattle is unparalleled.
Seattle downtown, the romantic Mount Rainier, a city where you can look at the snow-capped mountains from any corner, especially when the weather is good, the view is better! Here are 6 places in Seattle downtown to take photos of Mount Rainier.
1
Ferry
The ferry from Downtown to Bainbridge Island can take a straight angle to the snow-capped mountains, full of retro feelings.
2 Ruston Way Park
Walking up the small slope of the park, you can take photos of the city scenery of Tacoma, the lake and the snow-capped mountains, which is very atmospheric.
Address: Ruston Way, Tacoma, WA 98407
3 Ferris Wheel
Here, you can overlap the dreamy Ferris wheel and the huge Mount Rainier, which is visually shocking.
Address: 2226 Elliott Ave, Seattle, WA 98121
4 Kite Park
The end of the road is the snow-capped mountains. This is a very classic place to shoot Mount Rainier. It is recommended to use a telephoto lens to shoot, which can better capture the oppression of the distant snow-capped mountains. At the end of the road, there is also a coffee shop Caffé D'arte, where you can also check in the snow-capped mountains.

Puget Sound (WA)
#holidayitinerary
Puget Sound is adventure on the water. Cruising out of Seattle, I felt the energy of the city fade into pure natural wonder — islands, forests, and distant peaks on every horizon. I spotted bald eagles overhead and seals lounging on rocks. The sound is a playground for boaters, kayakers, and anyone chasing saltwater vibes. Sunset cruises here are unforgettable, with the Olympic Mountains glowing across the water. Puget Sound blends wilderness and city life in a way few places can. It’s the lifeblood of the Northwest, and it’s unforgettable to experience. #holidayitinerary

Yesterday,
Yesterday, we took the Bainbridge ferry to Seattle — about $20 for one car and three passengers, which felt like a great deal for such a memorable journey. After boarding and parking the car on the lower level, we went up to the top deck. The fresh sea breeze, open sky, and panoramic views were incredible. As the ferry glided across the water, we watched the Seattle skyline gradually come into view — the Space Needle, downtown buildings, and Mount Rainier faintly in the background. It was peaceful yet exciting, and offered a unique perspective of the city that you just can't get from driving in. Highly recommend this ferry ride for anyone visiting the area — it's more than just transportation; it's part of the adventure.

Ferry tour from Seattle to Bainbridge Island~
A ferry tour to Bainbridge, a beautiful island 30 minutes away from Seattle by ferry~
📍Ferry Dock, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 USA
You can get to Bainbridge Island in 30 minutes by ferry from the Seattle ferry terminal. The ferry fare is about $10 and it is free when you return.
The ferry is so big that you don't have to worry about seasickness, and you can also taste clam chowder from Ivar's bar, a famous restaurant in Seattle, on the boat.
After enjoying the scenery while having clam chowder and a beer, you will arrive at Bainbridge.
The ferry runs about every 45 minutes, so it is good for a half-day tour.

bainbridge island ferry
bainbridge island ferry in one day with my husband and friends. We drove our car on the ferry and yes you need to pay the ticket at the booth. They will ask you how many people in the car. Save the ticket so when you return you don’t pay the full price.
Nice weather. But nothing to look around actually. Restaurants price a bit too high. I think it is good place to chill but if you wanna sightsee and look around probably not that interesting.
