Bari is such a pretty city, especially the old town. It faces the Adriatic sea and it is close to the main touristic places of Puglia, a southern Italy region. We made a stop here to witness the history of this area, which is still alive in the streets and in the beautiful buildings ⛪️ We had to try the local special dish, orecchiette, a home-made pasta in a shape of a hat! Bari - Puglia This amazing city over the Mediterranean sea has something magic that can’t be explained. The down town, means the old part of the city is something really timeless. All the matron are on the street making orecchiette this typical type of pasta. you can buy it straight from them, you can see how the make it and have it right away. people are friendly and very very funny. you have to try the focaccia which is absolutely a must in Bari. and their beer is the Peroni. very good and fresh blond beer. loved this place. the airport is well connected to the city center and also the main train station has a quick transfer to the city center. #spooktaculartrip #tripblazers #fallingforfall #puglia #italy #bari

The Petruzzelli Theater in Bari is a magnificent architectural structure reminiscent of the Paris Opera House. The interior is adorned with gold leaf, making it truly luxurious in design. According to the guide, a fire in 1991 destroyed the entire theater except for this lobby area. It's fortunate that this space survived the fire and remains for us to see today.

#AprilTravelSupport Bari's Pertu Zeli Theater's exterior was so beautiful that I rotated it 360° to see it all. The interior was also decorated gorgeously, but the exterior also used a gorgeous red color, which made it stand out even more. If you come to Bari, I recommend you watch a performance at the theater. #beautiful_italy

#April Travel Support Fund The accommodation I stayed in in the new city center of Bari was probably operated as a B&B in the past, but now it only provides private rooms with private bathrooms without breakfast. The good thing was that they cleaned every day, and the location is the best as it is right in front of the Bari train station, so I recommend it.

I often saw young college students when I took the bus or train. The University of Bari building is a beautiful building that used to be a palace, so it was impressive even from a tourist's perspective. It was a museum built to commemorate Saint Nicholas, but the admission fee was expensive compared to its small size, so I didn't go in and just looked around the souvenir shop.
