Exploring the famous, vibrant & unique contemporary art districts in Beijing.

I have been explored The 798 Art Zone a couple of weeks before. I'm getting exited because it's one
of China's most famous contemporary art districts, housed in a repurposed industrial complex in Chaoyang, Beijing.
The 798 Art Zone has kind of industrial art vibe, offering a blend of unique architectural style, diverse
galleries & studios, hipster cafes and designer shops. The graffities and large-scale sculptures also creates a photogenic, avant-garde atmosphere. Moreover, the street art, colorful graffiti and unique installations make it a paradise for Instagrammers.
There have several galleries which hosted the top contemporary art spaces like UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, Galleria Continua and Pace Beijing. These galleries featuring both Chinese and international artists. Apart of that, regular art fairs, film screenings, and cultural events also liven up the area.
⏩ The 798 Art Zone is open for FREE, but some galleries and exhibition halls may charge entry (e.g., UCCA).
⏩ Getting There: Take Didi (a Chinese ride-hailing app) or the subway to get to 798, with the nearest metro station being Jiangtai Station (Exit C) on Line 14.
