Is Beijing POP LAND worth visiting?
The world's first POP MART theme park - POP LAND (Bubble Mart City Park) has opened in Beijing! 🎉
There are fairytale-filled Molly Castle and Labubu forest, as well as immersive exhibitions and cute bursts of performances, perfect for those who take pictures with Bestie, take the kids to unwind, or simply want to be healed. ✨
By the way, though, the park is not very large and the games tend to be relaxed and static. Is it worth the trip? 🤔
Let me break down the must-play highlights and pitfalls in the park, as well as hidden gameplay that most people may not know! 🔍
[In-park facilities experience]
🎡What is really worth playing in the park?
The "Wish Journey Exhibition" is definitely the first choice! MOLLY, DIMOO and LABUBU join forces to interpret the story, the animation projection is vivid and shocking, especially the ending is amazing! The overall rhythm is lively, and the exhibition area is air-conditioned, making it a good place to take pictures during the summer heat. In terms of performance, the bubble snow of the reunion event was extremely romantic. The performance of the Labubu dance group in the elf cheerleading was both cute and energetic. Both adults and children applauded! There are also friend meet-ups where you can interact with IP characters, healing beyond expectations!
🎡There are many Easter eggs in the park! Really not POP MART fans will be heart-warming!
Be sure to take the initiative to explore! Be sure to download the POPLAND AR app to play a free tour of AR games that connect the entire park (few people know!). After entering the park, go to the service desk to collect your free stamp collection passport. You can collect all 8 stamps in the park. The staff and cleaning lady will randomly distribute stickers, remember to pick up when you encounter - you can also exchange your voucher for a birthday badge and dessert on your birthday. Don't miss out on birthday benefits!
🎡It’s super convenient to take your kids to play!
No need to worry at all! The carousel can be ridden unlimited times, get off the car and give stickers, even adults grab to play; the unpowered park has sand pits, slides and swings, bring your own sand digging tools will have more fun. The park also has a special maternity and baby room and stroller barrier-free access, pushing strollers unimpeded, families with children can enjoy with confidence ~
🪄But some facilities in the park require secondary ticket purchase!
Some rides (such as the game house on Bubble Street) require the purchase of experience vouchers (¥30≈$33/time) after entry, the winning rate is very low, mostly only get keychains, and grand prize dolls/pillows are extremely rare. Performance-wise, the Warriors training camp characters and cheerleading are highly repetitive and lack freshness. The park itself is smaller, the games are static, the IP zoning is not obvious, there are stamped points once queued for 30 minutes; stalls located next to the main road is also easy to crowd, be careful when walking ~
[Catering and Consumption]
🪅Labubu-shaped meals are available for dining in the park! There are also park limited editions in the surroundings!
The restaurant’s IP-themed meals are exquisitely shaped and photogenic (such as Labubu-shaped desserts) and taste good, but the pricing is high and there are few choices. To save money, we recommend dining in the neighboring Blue Harbor business district for better value for money! In terms of peripherals, there are exclusive limited editions in the park (such as the park version of Labubu doll), which cannot be bought outside; however, other ordinary peripherals are also available in stores outside ~
[Location and Practical Tips]
