But on this trip to Porto, we knew there were some truly beautiful churches, and since our daughter was interested in checking one out with me, I was definitely happy to go! The beautiful exterior tiles are a classic Portuguese scene and a popular photo opp! There's a fee to enter the church, though it's free for children and about 5 euros for adults! It's well worth it, as the solemnity you feel upon entering is priceless. While the interior needs some repairs, the various statues left a lasting impression.
