Bipenggou is one of the most stunning natural attractions located in Sichuan Province, China. It takes about 3 hours to drive from Chengdu. Upon arrival, there is a park bus that will take you to the first point. If you can't walk further, it's recommended to buy an additional bus ticket because the altitude here is quite high. Just walking up a small slope can leave you breathless. For those who want to walk but are afraid of getting tired, it's recommended to take the bus up and then walk down to avoid too much strain. The weather is very cold, especially in winter when it can drop to minus ten degrees. It's recommended to prepare good winter clothing and an oxygen canister (available for about 15 yuan at the entrance) because the high altitude can make you easily exhausted. The entrance fee for foreigners is about 95 yuan, and if you want to visit all the spots, you need to buy additional tickets. The scenery is magnificent, with waterfalls and crystal-clear blue lakes that look like a dream. It's less crowded than other places, and every corner is perfect for taking photos. #TravelChina Want to see snow? I sat and searched for information because I had a limited budget. I found this place. Bipenggou can be a one-day trip from Chengdu because the information I found said to be careful about altitude sickness. I thought, okay, if I have altitude sickness, I can go back to the city to rest. I feel relieved first. In the end, I decided to go here. It took almost 4 hours to travel from Chengdu to Bipenggou Park. We rented a car because we thought it was convenient for traveling. The car will drop us off at the park's ticket booth. We booked tickets in advance through Trip.com. Just show the passport and you will get a ticket to take the park's bus up the mountain on a winding road for about 40 minutes. The bus will stop for us to get off here. There will be a restroom, a dining area, and a nurse's office. On the day we went, it was snowing. It was so cool. If anyone wants to go up further, you can buy an electric golf cart ticket for 30 yuan per person. For us, we think the view across from the golf cart ticket booth is beautiful and fun to play in the snow. We don't have altitude sickness. The breathtaking views were far beyond what my camera could capture. I'm at a loss for words; the beauty is simply indescribable. However, a word of caution: it's incredibly cold! Make sure you're bundled up with plenty of warm layers, including a scarf and hat. Not only will they keep you cozy, but they'll also add a touch of flair to your photos, creating the perfect wintery vibe. Bipenggou sits at an average altitude of 3,200 meters and is open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The combined ticket for entry and the scenic bus is only 130 yuan per person, offering incredible value. The best time to visit is from early December to February, when you can witness the stunning autumn foliage transition into a snowy wonderland. What a bargain! There's only one route through the scenic area, divided into three sections. The first section, from the visitor center to Longwang Lake (龙王海) and then to Shanghai Lake (上海子), takes about 45 minutes by bus. 🛑Hiking is not recommended because it is very tiring. At first, it looks good, but after a while, you will get tired of it. Also, if your body is not well adapted, hiking can easily cause altitude sickness.

Hi All, Yesterday we went to Bipenggou and Taoping Village using Andrew Zheng agency. Our driver Thomas did a very good job providing us with a lot of explanations and guidance about Chinese History and Attraction along the way which is not popular among the tourists. Below I will share with you what I feel about our journey with them. Price: This was definitely much cheaper than any other tour agencies we've used before. Why pay more when you can get good service which are both excellent and affordable? 😊. Car model: Audi 2022-2023 if the model concern you. -Very Clean and Comfy Time consumed: Almost 4 hours to Bipenggou. Almost 1 hour to Taoping Village from Bipenggou. The price covers only private car services, but along the way, the driver went above and beyond by sharing insightful information about the history and the places we visited and passed by. P/S: We highly recommend hiring a private driver to Bipenggou for two main reasons. First, it allows you to visit other attractions along the way. Second, taking the bus to Bipenggou may not be ideal for everyone. Yesterday, I ended up vomiting because the road in the Bipenggou Park requires a bus ride to the top. Just imagine if I had to take the bus back to Chengdu from Bipenggou—the bus would have to endure the smell of my vomit! Taoping Village: the place is unique and definitely worth to visit. The building were created for the purpose of war. Getting here from Bipenggou will save you more time. Because it is not far from one and another. The history of people in here dated back to 2000 years ago!!! The people here are kind and helpful. I recommend visiting Taoping Village with a trustworthy tour agent. We bought a variety of candies and treats made from yak milk and meat. They are also selling genuine honey, but be cautious, as some vendors might offer fake honey. Unfortunately, this is something you will find in everywhere around the world. Fortunately, our driver, Thomas, advised us not to buy from the seller. Instead, he brought us to a local who have a Real Honey for private consumption which she sold to us cheaper than the previous vendor. Important note: use lotion and lip balm in Chengdu to avoid getting winter rash. And do not run too much at Bipenggou if you do not want to get sick

I have to say that you can't miss this route!‼️ Bipenggou National Park, I was lucky enough to visit during the changing leaves season💞 ✨ The park car was driving so fast, it felt like today was the last day🤣 They stopped at two places. The first place was a wide river with a mountain view.
