🌿Travel experience
Øye town in Norway has few tourists, is quiet and pristine, with open valley views and mirror-like alpine lakes everywhere. The temperature is low, so bring a light jacket even in mid-summer.
Trillium Lake is a popular photo spot, with many photographers in the early morning and crowds dispersing during the day. A windless morning is the golden hour for capturing reflections; the lake surface can become disturbed by wind in the afternoon.
Both forest areas have many mosquitoes and other insects, so be sure to bring repellent. Mobile signal is weak in some mountainous areas, so download offline maps in advance.

📖Travelogue essay
On one side are the serene and deep valleys of Northern Europe, with streams flowing through pristine forests and mountains standing quietly. On the other side is Mount Hood on the west coast of North America, with mirror-like lake water perfectly replicating the mountain's outline.
Walking in the wilderness of different continents, the scenery and atmosphere are distinctly different, yet both possess the power to heal the soul. There's no need to rush to crowded places; quiet lakes and forests will always welcome all who yearn for nature.
