I made it to the Brooklyn Bridge just in time for sunset. The gradient sky against the twinkling city nightscape was as beautiful as a movie scene. Walking briskly from one end of the bridge to the other for half an hour was totally worth it 🥲 Visited Brooklyn Cat Cafe again, and all the kittens were new faces. Surprisingly, we never felt worn out because the logistics were so well planned, making the transition between the dive center, the hotel, and restaurants nearly effortless. We also finished the SSI Tiger Shark Specialty and Deep Diving courses. I gained so much from these, especially thanks to our instructor, Aiman. He was highly approachable, an excellent communicator, and made learning enjoyable and easy to follow. In summary, this was one of the best diving trips I’ve ever experienced. I will definitely return with more friends who haven’t yet encountered the tiger sharks and other fascinating marine life here! Big thanks to Inah for leading such an exceptional team. I started my walk near the waterfront and immediately got that iconic view of the Manhattan Bridge perfectly framed between red-brick buildings on Washington Street. I spent some time in the streets around DUMBO, Brooklyn just walking slowly, no rush, because every corner feels like a photo spot. The highlight for me was sunset at Brooklyn Bridge Park. The skyline slowly turned golden, and the lights of Manhattan started reflecting on the water. It’s quiet, but still full of life—people picnicking, cycling, or just sitting by the river. If you come here, stay until golden hour. That’s when DUMBO really shows its magic.
