We came to The Hague for just one night to see the masterpieces at the Mauritshuis and feel the fresh breeze of the North Sea. 🌊 We chose our hotel based on the price-to-location ratio, and the best option turned out to be Staybridge Suites The Hague – Parliament by IHG. 🌿 This was one of those times when expectations perfectly matched reality: spacious rooms with a kitchen, absolute quiet to relax after a busy day, and literally just a few minutes' walk to the main attractions. Mauritshuis ~ 2 minutes 🐾 Escher Museum ~ 5 minutes 🐾 Peace Palace ~ 20 minutes 🐾 Royal Palace ~ 7 minutes 🐾 Centrum Mall ~ 15 minutes 🐾 Central Train Station ~ 15 minutes 🐾 Scheveningen Beach ~ 10 minutes 🚗 📍 Lange Vijverberg 10/11, 2513 AC Den Haag In the morning, we enjoyed a leisurely, delicious breakfast and took a stroll through the charming streets of The Hague, where every detail looks like it belongs on a postcard. 🍒 The Mauritshuis is an intimate museum, yet it leaves an incredibly powerful impression. Seeing the "Girl with a Pearl Earring" in person evokes a completely different level of emotion than looking at a photo. Afterward, we took a contrasting, refreshing trip to the sea: long beaches, a crisp breeze, and a feeling of total rejuvenation. 🥂 Short trips like this are a great reminder of how important it is to just change your scenery sometimes—even if only for a night. 🎶 We booked our hotel on Trip.com 💙

The distance between Hema and De Bijenkorf in the center of The Hague is just a few steps away~ Both were established by Dutch businessman Simon Philip Goudsmit~ One is more civilian ~ the other sells more luxury goods ~ If you are interested, you can walk both together~ [Hema] Dutch grocery chain Personally, I was happier walking in HEMA XD because there are super many Miffy's daily necessities ~ And the price is reasonable and not expensive ~ buy for personal use or souvenirs are very suitable ~ If you walk until you are hungry ~ it has a small restaurant attached to the second floor ~ a bit of ikea feeling ~ The food tastes normal ~ not super stunning! But it's good to walk until you're hungry to treat your stomach✨ [De Bijenkorf] A high-end department store chain known as the Queen's Store by Dutch Chinese Steps away is the department store De Bijenkorf~ which has 3 flagship stores 🎀The Hague is one of them~ The other 2 are in Amsterdam and Rotterdam The ground floor gathers many different luxury brand counters ✨ bags and cosmetics ~ like to see things can walk slowly I don't buy luxury brands~ so the upstairs suits me better! Especially the jellycat doll cabinet in the children's area🧸 It's really super cute! I strolled around, enjoying ice cream and coffee, and then headed toward Chinatown for some shopping. It was so refreshing. It was a peaceful experience to wander around and soak up the atmosphere of The Hague before heading to the art museum.
