You can always trust the healing power of Ciudad Real National Park.
As the hustle and bustle of modern cities and the fast pace of life become more and more precious, the gifts of nature are not only magnificent scenery, but also a cleansing of the soul. When you stand between the vast sky and the earth, in the mountains and forests, breathe fresh air, look up at the stars, listen to the whisper of the wind, and capture the pure golden autumn, you will understand the meaning of all this. Such a world is hidden in the national park of Ciudad Real. If you pass by, you might as well go into the park to feel the purity and vastness.
P.N. Tablas de Daimiel
This is a unique wetland in Europe and the last relic of the river plain ecosystem that once spread across the central Iberian Peninsula. It was declared a national park in 1973, a biosphere reserve in 1981, and was included in the Ramsar Convention in 1982. It was formed by the flooding of the Guadiana and Gigüela rivers. Due to the lack of slopes in the terrain, it is unique. After being declared a national park, it has taken a big step in protecting one of the most precious ecosystems on the planet, to a certain extent ensuring the survival of birds that winter, nest and inhabit in these areas.
Here, you can see various migratory birds in groups in the sky and forests, various amphibians inhabiting the wetlands, and of course, other animals such as marsh turtles, otters, foxes, etc.

The park is located in the northwest of Ciudad Real Province and the southwest of Toledo Province. In this national park, the great Mediterranean forest in Europe is well preserved. If you come here, you can still find yourself surrounded by the most endangered Iberian animals, and you can also see fossils from more than 500 million years ago. After the first rain in autumn, the most interesting moment of this park is coming: after a long summer, many streams will appear in the mountains, the water level will rise, and the waterfall will come. At the same time, from mid-September to mid-October, a unique spectacle will appear in the park-"berrea", which is the mating season of deer. At different times of the day, you can hear the harsh and shocking calls of deer and observe their wild state. Take advantage of this autumn and hike here! Look at the park shrouded in autumn mist, look at the colorful tree fruits, and look at the vitality of animals...
