All Moments About Ihlara Belediyesi
Ihlara Valley is underrated (MUST-VISIT)
If you are a carefree traveler and dislike a packed itinerary, it is recommended to rent a car in Cappadocia so we can explore the attractions at our own pace.
One of the best place i visited in Cappadocia is Ihlara Valley. The view was INSANELY BEAUTIFUL. It is about 1 hour drive from Goreme. The entrance fee vary depends on season, getting the Cappadocia museum pass is the best trick because there’re a lot of outdoor museums here.
You can also do trekking in Ihlara Valley (estimated about 2-3 hours for half course), while exploring the cave church remains along the river. But we only came down to take picture and go back up the stairs after spending about 40minutes in the valley.
If you want to go by tour group, this place is usually included in the Green Tour.

Natural View In Ihlara Valley
This second time I went to Ihlara Valley, the surrounding still same but that time many people visit this place. I’m booking green tour package through online booking around 29euro but the Tour little bit rushing and we don’t have much time to take more picture😌 #awesomepic #urbanexplorer #naturalwonders #createwithtrip #deliciousfood
stunning with this place! ⛰💚
I wasn't expecting much here at first. But when the tour guide It is recommended that we walk hiking. After that, it's like an imaginary picture. It's very beautiful. It is a country with beautiful natural scenery. I am most impressed with Ihlara Valley because it has lovely little flowers🌸 , nice weather, green and clear skies. I would recommend you to come here. You can buy a tour for 35-40 Euro, or you can rent a car yourself. 💖

Beautiful walk in nature along the river🥹✨
Beautiful walk in nature along the river, shame to see that most of the caves have been used as a toilet, and that much of the ancient paintings in the caves have been graffitied and scratched out.
Hopefully the 15 euro entrance fee can contribute to some maintenance and preservation work.
Small shop with food and drinks and a toilet at the trail head, and paid parking.

50m 이상의 수직 절벽이 이어진 깊고 웅장한 계곡✨
Ilhara valley: We kept this place in our itinerary. It's almost a 2 hour drive away from Goreme. It's truly natural. Far away from the maddening crowds of tourists. Very few tourists visit here. There are beautiful shaped rocks on both sides of the river (with crystal clear water). There are lots of trees around both banks of the river. Birds are chirping everywhere. At the middle of the trail there is a cafeteria where you can enjoy drink and food on the chair placed on the river bed, where the fishes are roaming within and ducks on the surface of the river. In the way back there is a restaurant on the bank of the river. Any one can seat on the Turkish style sitting arrangement on the river and have some delicious lunch.

relatively moderate walk😍
It's a relatively moderate walk, the trail is easy to follow and there're a few tea houses/cafes along the way. We spent 4 hours, round-trip walking from the ilhara valley entrance to Belisirma and back. Most of the time was spent walking to Belisirma including a nice amount of time at Diker aile (cafe) enjoying Tea and some food. We visited some of the churches and just enjoyed the walk and the nature. It got a little more crowded towards our walk out, but overall not bad and we started at 11.

One of the best places to visit💚✨
One of the best places to visit. Amazing scenery to walk alongside the river
Ihlara Valley (often misspelled as Ilhara Valley), near Mount Hasan and Mount Melendiz (two of the three volcanoes of Cappadocia) is a canyon with a depth of approximately 100m and was formed by the Melendiz River thousands of years ago. It begins at Ihlara village and ends with Selime Monastery at Selime village after making 26 bends along 14 kilometers.

Beautiful beyond be-leaf 🍃
Ihlara Valley—highly recommended with the guide.😍
Overall, Ihlara Valley is a must-visit for anyone looking for a scenic and relaxing experience in Cappadocia. This 13 km canyon offers the perfect mix of nature, history, and adventure—highly recommended with the guide.

Lyou can always opt for a shorter walk and still enjoy 😍
The hiking trail takes about 3 to 4 hours to complete, but you can always opt for a shorter walk and still enjoy the beauty. Along the way, you’ll pass by ancient rock-cut churches with beautiful frescoes, like Ağaçaltı Church and Yılanlı Church, adding a historical charm to the experience. The sound of the Melendiz River makes the walk even more peaceful. Should do it with guide .

Ihlara Valley is a hidden paradise in Cappadocia💙
Ihlara Valley is a hidden paradise in Cappadocia, offering a refreshing break from the region’s rocky landscapes. This 13 km long canyon is surrounded by lush greenery, a flowing river, and towering cliffs, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers and hikers.

Ihlara Valley is definitely worth the visit!
Ihlara Valley is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike. The breathtaking canyon, lush greenery, and hidden rock-cut churches make for an unforgettable experience. However, to fully enjoy the valley, I highly recommend the following:
1. Wear anti-slip shoes – The trails can be steep and slippery, especially in damp or icy conditions. Proper footwear will make the hike safer and more comfortable.
2. Bring plenty of water – there are no shops down there.
3. Arrive early – To take full advantage of the scenic beauty and explore the historical sites.
If you love hiking, history, and picturesque landscapes, Ihlara Valley is definitely worth the visit!

Eulala Valley, a landscape you can't see anywhere else 💚
A view you can't see anywhere else. The trekking course is flat so it's not particularly difficult, but the dirt road can be muddy if it rains or just after. If you come as part of the Green Tour, you can eat at a nearby restaurant before or after the trekking. There are also cathedrals dug out of rocks and built by Christians who hid there to avoid persecution.

You can enter with the Türkiye Museum Pass~
Entrance with the Turkish Museum Pass. If I had time, I wanted to walk all the way along the valley. I rented a car and went here first thing in the morning, so there were no people in the morning, so it was nice to walk around. After 12 o'clock, there were more and more people. Magnificent natural scenery. After a little trekking, go 600 meters to the left, and you can have a glass of pomegranate juice at a small cafe. Entrance fee is 55 lira.
+ Those coming by rental car, there is another Ihlara Valley, but you should come here!!

Definitely take 4-5 hours and visit✨
Definitely take 4-5 hours and visit. The main entrance is closed due to construction, so you have to enter from the Belisirma side. If you enter from the other side, you will walk much longer. The inside is like a nature walk, definitely take water with you. It was very enjoyable to sit at a few points and watch the view and the stream. There are a few churches inside, most of which have been destroyed. And there is a security cabin that resembles a hobbit house. Everything inside is absurdly expensive, I recommend you buy from outside.

you should set aside your whole day❤️
If you have a long time to visit the valley, you should set aside your whole day. Although it may not seem different from an ordinary valley when you first enter, its cool water, nature and historical beauty draws you in.
I recommend that you take plenty of long breaks and tour the entire valley.
If you enter the valley with its caves, nature and variety of trees, cool water and the sound of the water that relaxes you, you will not want to leave.
Pack a small backpack with you. Be sure to have water and snacks with you.
I also recommend that you take your hat.
If you have the opportunity to take slippers with you, a break you will take by putting your feet in the water when you get tired will take all your tiredness away.
There are blackberry bushes in the valley, it will be a nice and organic snack for a tiring trip.
Note: We did not camp in the valley, but at a higher point by the water that feeds the valley.
Accommodation and camping are prohibited in the valley

A wonderful experience💕💕
A wonderful experience. We entered at 17:00 in the evening.
We entered at 17:00 in the evening.
Akşam saat 17:00'de giriş yaptık.
We entered from gate number 1. We followed the distance we walked with our watch. We walked along the Melendiz River for about 3 km. We returned the same way. The walking route is not torturous. During the walk, you can cross the river with small walking bridges. You come across churches. Think of our walk as the total distance of the round trip. Walk accordingly. We are a nature walking route where you can walk while witnessing the most important history in Türkiye...

It's a very nice track😍
It's a very nice track. The only problem is that it's very crowded. It's free with a museum card.
For those who want to hang out alone, with books, coffee, these are the only things you should take with you. With its relaxing atmosphere, this place is just for you 👌

First of all, it is very easy to get to😍
First of all, it is very easy to get to. I had no problems with parking. Negotiating for the entrance is recommended. The guys at the ticket office are very helpful. You will encounter incredible views throughout the walk. The total length is 7 km. You can return to Gate 1 by taxi from here or you have to walk 7 km. The walking paths could be improved a little more. I do not recommend coming in rainy and cold weather. I recommend you to enter the cave entrances you see along the way. There are larger holes than today's houses. If you have time, definitely stop by.

Turkey tourist attraction 😍 Ihlara Valley
Entrance fee is 200 lira per person in July 23rd.
It is a difficult place for the elderly.
If you like long walks or want to see the old church carved into the cliff rock, it is worth seeing. However, it is very damaged.
The water in the valley is not clean.

The magnificent Turkiye Valley 👍🏻 Ihlara Valley
It is a deep and magnificent valley with vertical cliffs of more than 50m. Due to time constraints, I do not go down the valley, but am satisfied with viewing it from above.
There are flocks of sheep and small but pretty residences nearby, and they blend in with the valley's enormous scale to provide a wonderful view.

Spring Hiking in Ihlara Valley
We went to Ihalara Valley with our tour guide for easy hiking and I didn’t expect anything from that trip. But how I was surprised and amazed when I saw that nature with my own eyes! It wasn’t a hiking it was just a lovely walking full of admiration and “wow”. The valley had wonderful trees and unique cafes located just in the nature. The mountains were so spectacular too.

Cappadocia Ihlara Valley Trekking
#MarchTravelSupportEvent
While trekking through the Ihlara Valley in Cappadocia, Turkey, the valley was a valley, but the view across the valley was so niceㅋㅋㅋ
They say it's the only valley in Cappadocia where you can see a green forest.
There's also a cafe in the valley, and the atmosphere of this cafe is amazing*_*

Cappadocia Ihlara Valley Restaurant
#MarchTravelSupportEvent
When I went to Cappadocia, I went trekking in the Ihlara Valley.
Before starting the trekking, I ate at a restaurant in the valley.
It seemed like there was only one restaurant nearby.ㅎㅎㅎ
For the main dish, you could choose between fish, beef, meatballs, and vegetables, so I chose meatballs and beef.
The meatballs were tastier than I thought, and the beef that my partner chose was stir-fried with tomatoes, which was one of the foods I ate a lot while traveling in Turkey.ㅎㅎ
