[Seoul] Recommended for solo travelers! Bossam set meal with plenty of garlic
I had a meal by myself at "Obok Bossam Jokbal" in Jongno 3-ga, so I'd like to introduce it to you♪
Bossam is a Korean dish where boiled pork is wrapped in vegetables with kimchi and garlic.
You might imagine bossam being served on a large plate, so it's nice that they serve it in individual portions!
What I ordered was...
■Manul Cheongsik (10,000W)
■Bottled beer (5,000W)
The generous amount of garlic on top was amazing.
In addition, raw garlic, kimchi, green chili peppers, etc. were served as condiments.
And they even had kimchi jjigae!
The thinly sliced and lightly flavored bossam is delicious as is, but we recommend eating it with salted shrimp or wrapping it in vegetables with samjang (miso paste) and gobbling it down.
This set meal is only available for lunch, but it is served until 5:00 p.m.
Even if the lunch menu sign is hanging up, just ask the staff, "Manul cheongsik kenchanayo?"
The restaurant is located near Jongno 3-ga Station, which is served by three subway lines, 1, 3, and 5, and is located in an alley off Oyster Bossam Street, just off the main street.
