The market is open every day except New Year's Day, and it starts at 7:30, which is a slow time for a morning market, and gets busy around 9:00. Local seafood, seasonal vegetables, and squid gourmet food, which is a specialty of Yobuko, are available. A scenic spot created by the erosion of basalt by the waves of the Genkai Sea. The rock surface is lined up in a regular pattern like columns, the same as Tojinbo in Fukui. The cliff has been deeply carved by erosion, and as the name suggests, there are seven caves. You can feel the magnificent power and threat of nature. The largest sea cave is 3m wide and 110m deep. Depending on the wave conditions, you can enter by boat. Camping is one of the things I wanted to try at least once in my life. I went to a campsite in Saga to try it out. All the necessary equipment can be rented, so even beginners can feel at ease. Hatomasaki in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture is a beautiful cape jutting out into the Genkai Sea. It is especially known as a famous sunset spot, and the sight of the sun turning the sea red is a spectacular sight! It is a popular spot where you can take a leisurely stroll while watching the spectacular view, or enjoy the nearby gourmet food. Access: The nearest station is JR Karatsu Line Karatsu Station. From there, it takes about 40 minutes to get to Hatomasaki by Showa Bus. It is about an hour by car from Fukuoka City, and there is also free parking. It is the perfect route for a drive. The castle's upper tower and lower roofs resemble the head, body, and wings of a white crane, earning it the nickname "Dancing Crane Castle." 📅Bloom Time: Late April to mid-May, with the best viewing period lasting about two weeks. To see the wisteria in full bloom, be sure to check the bloom forecast for the year in advance so you don't miss the peak season. 🚗Transportation: From Fukuoka, take the JR to Karatsu Station. From there, it's about a 10-minute bus ride to Karatsu Castle. 💰Admission: Entry to Karatsu Castle Park is free. If you want to climb the castle tower, you'll need to purchase a ticket, which is very affordable and offers a panoramic view of the wisteria blossoms. 📷Photo Spots: The front of the castle tower is an excellent photo spot, where the ancient architecture and wisteria complement each other, creating photos with a historical ambiance.
