The boats can only be rented during summer and are a bit overpriced 😅 It’s worth it though 🛶 2. Lago di Braies: Due to the easy accessibility the lake gets very crowded throughout the day. Either visit early in the morning or before sunset to avoid the crowds 💦 3. Tre Cime di Lavaredo - Basic Hike: Park at Rifugio Auronzo (quite expensive) and walk around the 3 peaks (beginner friendly) 🥾 4. Cave at Tre Cime di Lavaredo: Start the basic hike and go to Dreizinnenhütte. Behind it you can already see the caves. The hike takes very long and depending on the season it can be easy or difficult (we went in May with melting snow and it took 12 hours) 😅 5. Alpe di Siusi: You can only drive up by car if you book a hotel. Otherwise you need to take the cable car 🚠 There are different ones but our favorite is the one from St. Ulrich. 6. Malga Sanon at Alpe di Siusi: Don‘t miss this restaurant with the cute lookout at Alpe di Siusi ❤️ 7. The Restaurant also has a swing with an amazing view 🥹 8. A popular hiking spot in the Dolomites, the Cadini Misurina viewpoint uses the same parking lot as the Tre Cime Lavaredo hike. From the parking lot, look for the starting point and walk towards Tre Cime. At the entrance, look for the sign for Trail 117 and turn right, following the sign. The first part is downhill; follow the sign for Trail 117. After that, the path is quite steep and narrow, requiring caution. However, it's not too difficult for anyone. We brought our children and managed to walk there. It took about an hour and a half, including photo opportunities, to reach the destination. It's a very beautiful photo spot. The mountain views here are breathtaking. Anyone visiting the Dolomites should definitely not miss this hike. The entire journey takes about 4 hrs. 🏔Chiesa di San Giovanni The classic church photo spot in Val di Funes. This Baroque church is backed by the Odle mountain range, giving it a secluded feel, hence the name "lonely church." ✅How to get there: Navigate to S. Giovann, 2, 39040 Funes BZ 🏔Panorama di Santa Maddalena A sunset viewpoint in Val di Funes. The quaint cottages nestled in the valley, with the towering mountains as a backdrop, resemble a hidden fairytale town. The entire route from the church to here is incredibly picturesque, with every frame a painting. ✅How to get there: About a 15 min walk from the church. 🏔Lago di Carezza The scenery here is incredibly rich, with snow-capped mountains, forests, and a lake. On sunny days, the lake resembles a green emerald, while cloudy days offer a different ambiance. It's a perfect spot for taking photos, regardless of the weather. ✅How to get there: Navigate to Via Val d'Ega - 39056 Bolzano (BZ) 🏔Alpe di Siusi The scenic route next to Sporthotel Sonne is highly recommended. Heading west, the route ends at the famous Panchina Gigante (Giant Bench). Along the way, you'll encounter various wooden houses, pine trees, and wooden benches. The rolling meadows of the plateau are visible from almost any angle. ✅How to get there: Take the cable car from Ortisei to the top station. You can hike to the hotel or take the Sole open-air cable car.

Take a gondola to the summit of Monte Cristallo, then ride a cute red and yellow standing gondola (for two people) to the snowy world at an altitude of 3,000 meters. Despite visiting in August, there was still a lot of snow. In winter, this place transforms into an amazing ski course. The snowy mountain world seen from the gondolas is incredible. I was able to fully enjoy the beauty of nature. At the mid-station, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal while taking in the view. There was also a bar at the top of the red and yellow gondola. Since it can be slippery, I recommend preparing proper footwear even in summer.
