1. Wolverhampton, although a county town, is not large itself. I ended up exploring the city for less than an hour due to a train cancellation. 2. Industrial Revolution Architecture: The city center is right outside the train station. The entire city mainly retains the architectural styles popular before and after the Industrial Revolution, such as Victorian and Baroque (if I remember the professional terms correctly). 3. Art Gallery and University: The art gallery and the University of Wolverhampton are together, a few minutes' walk from the train station. You can visit them briefly. Location: Lichfield St, Wolverhampton WV1 1DU 4. Cathedral: The cathedral is located opposite the university and is quite large. Unfortunately, it was under renovation and not open, so I could only walk around outside. 5. Charity Shops: There are many charity shops in the city with good prices. You can visit them along the way. In addition, although it is very close to Birmingham, the English breakfasts sold in the city's cafes are surprisingly cheap, with a set costing just £5, which is very cost-effective.

As the sun slowly rises, a thin layer of mist hovers above the open fields, blurring the edges of trees painted in yellow and pale gold. Every breath feels cool and refreshing, carrying the earthy scent of damp leaves. The paths are calm at this hour, covered with a delicate layer of fallen foliage that rustles gently under your steps. Ducks glide quietly across the lake, their reflections slightly blurred by the morning fog. Dog walkers move slowly through the haze, their silhouettes almost blending into the landscape. The benches along the water become perfect spots to pause, watch the mist drift, and let the stillness of the morning sink in. East Park in autumn is peaceful, reflective, and beautifully atmospheric — a perfect place to begin the day with clarity and calm.
