Nakayama Pass Roadside Station, Boyo Nakayama

On the way back from the drive, we stopped at the roadside station, Bouyou Nakayama, at Nakayama Pass. This roadside station is famous for its fried potatoes, which are whole potatoes dipped in batter and deep-fried. They serve them warm, so you can eat fluffy and delicious potatoes. The first floor is a souvenir shop and the second floor is a rest area. You can take a break while enjoying a great view. It is open all year round and is about an hour away from Sapporo.
