Alhambra Palace

Alhambra Palace (English: Alhambra Palace; Arabic: الْحَمْرَاء Al-Ḥamrā), meaning 'The Red Fortress') Alhambra Palace is a famous palace in Spain, which was the royal palace of the Emirate of Granada established by the Moors in medieval Spain (Arabic: إمارة غرﻧﺎﻃﺔ; English: Emirate of Granada). It is the essence of all the Moorish monuments left in Spain, known as 'the city of palaces' and 'a wonder of the world'. It was originally built during the 13th century by King Al-Ahmar and his successors. The Alhambra, Generalife, and Albaicín in Granada, because they have maintained the appearance of the medieval Granada region, were listed as cultural heritage in the 'World Heritage List' in 1984, and the heritage was expanded in 1994.
