Hangzhou Winter Getaway: Hot Spring Hotel in a Tea Garden

We went on a long-awaited short trip with friends to Hentique Resort in the bamboo forest of Anji. 🚗 It took us about 1.5 hours to drive from Hangzhou. The resort is located in Anji Bamboo Expo Park, not far from downtown Anji. It's easy to get a taxi to go out. 🚌 Anji is full of popular hotels. We planned to go rafting in Xianlong Gorge and visit Cloud Grassland. There are many hotels near Cloud Grassland, which are more convenient for visiting the scenic area. However, it takes 1 hour to drive from Hentique Resort to Cloud Grassland. After considering the cost performance, comfort, and scenery, we decided to stay at Hentique Resort! We stayed in a half-mountain view room (CNY 800 per night in the off-season). The room includes two buffet breakfasts and two hot spring tickets. ♨️ (The hot spring is what attracted me. The hot spring ticket alone costs CNY 128.) After rafting in the afternoon, it was so nice to enjoy a hot spring in the evening. 😍 🏔 Hotel facilities: mountaintop swimming pool (closed in autumn and winter), 🎋 bamboo forest hot spring ♨️, water restaurant, Hanfu experience, private cinema, karaoke, and table tennis ‼️ There are many attractions in the hotel. You can take the hotel sightseeing bus to the Tea Museum, Cliff Hotel, and mountaintop cafe. ☕️ Even if you stay in the hotel, there are many entertainment options. The food at the hotel restaurant, Shuixieju, is also very good. The prices are reasonable for a five-star hotel. 📝 Travel tips: (We recommend staying for two nights to have a more relaxing trip.) Day 1: Depart from Hangzhou and arrive at Hentique Resort at noon. Go rafting in Xianlong Gorge in the afternoon. Have dinner at Shuixieju and enjoy the hot spring in the evening. Day 2: Have breakfast at the hotel and go to Cloud Grassland. (There are many amusement facilities in Cloud Grassland, and you need to wait in line. We recommend going there early in the morning to enjoy a full day of fun.) Have dinner at Anji Tucaiguan at the foot of the mountain in the evening. Day 3: You can visit nearby attractions or stroll around the hotel. The hotel also offers some Chinese culture classes. 🚗 Transportation: A one-way taxi ride to Cloud Grassland costs about CNY 140. We hired a driver for two days, which was cheaper for three people. (We recommend hiring a driver for two or more people, which is more convenient.) 📌 A more economical way is to take a taxi from Hentique Resort to downtown Anji, and then take Bus 203 🚌 to Cloud Grassland. This is a bit more troublesome, but much cheaper.
