Anji Cloud Grassland, a dream destination for family trips!

Seriously, this place is the perfect choice for a family trip, and both my daughter and I were absolutely thrilled! Anji's Cloud Grassland is especially worth a visit. At an altitude of 1,168 meters, it’s about 6-7 degrees cooler than the foot of the mountain during the day (if it’s not too sunny), making it like a natural air-conditioned retreat. The Children’s Valley features attractions like the Cloud Mini Coaster, Donut Grass Sliding, and Spinning Helicopter—all super fun for kids and not hot at all. At night, you can head to the Starlight Club and experience what it’s like to be a little pilot. So much fun! For accommodation, I highly recommend the 1168 Starlight Astronomy Hotel. The entire hotel is themed around astronomy and the stars, creating a romantic and sci-fi vibe—it feels like staying on another planet! The hotel even has an observation deck for stargazing at night, which is incredibly romantic. Getting there is also very convenient: a 1.5-hour drive from Hangzhou or 2.5 hours from Shanghai. If you take the high-speed train, I recommend renting a car after arriving at Anji Station for more flexibility. There are plenty of other fun spots nearby, like the Great Bamboo Sea, the filming location for *Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon*, with its breathtaking bamboo forests. There’s also Jiangnan Tianchi (South China Sky Pool), where the winding mountain roads are stunning, and you can watch the sunrise and sea of clouds from the summit.
