Anyi County, a small county, has its own unique characteristics

Anyi County, under the jurisdiction of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northwest of Jiangxi Province. The county borders Xinjian District to the east, Gao'an City to the south, Fengxin County to the southwest, Jing'an County to the northwest, and Yongxiu County to the northeast. The total area of the county is 660 square kilometers. In the thirteenth year of the Zhengde era of the Ming Dynasty (1518), the county was established from five townships of Jianchang County, namely Anyi, Nanchang, Bulin, Konghe, and Yiren, and was named Anyi County after the southern Anyi Township within its borders. Anyi County enjoys convenient transportation with the Beijing-Kowloon Railway and the Changjiu Expressway passing through its territory. The county seat is a 30-minute drive from downtown Nanchang, a 20-minute drive from Nanchang Changbei International Airport, and a 60-minute drive from Jiujiang, Jiangxi's largest port for foreign transportation, and the internationally renowned Mount Lu. It is integrated into the Nanchang half-hour economic circle and the airport economic circle. Within its territory, there is a group of ancient villages known for combining the culture of Gan and the culture of Gan merchants.
