Wat Muang Chum, Singburi

Wat Muang Chum is located in Mai Dat Subdistrict, Bang Rachan District, Sing Buri Province. It is an ancient temple that is more than 400 years old, which is likely to have been built since the Ayutthaya period. In the past, it was called Wat Kradannga. It was an abandoned temple since the time of the war with Burma. Many sandstone Buddha heads were excavated. The atmosphere of the temple is shady. The front of the temple is on the road, and the back is on the river. Especially on top of the big Buddha, the air is good, with a constant breeze. There are nuns at the temple to help guide and tell various stories. I went on Saturday. It was not crowded. I had time to worship the Buddha and find a good angle to take pictures.
