#staycation - Awesome Location for a Great Urban Staycation Hotel : InterContinental Bangkok Address : 973 Phloen Chit Road, Lumpini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand InterContinental Hotel Bangkok is a luxury 5-star 381 room property all intricately set up with a contemporary art deco style. Located in Ratchaprasong, it is within walking distance to Bangkok's top shopping belt covering Central World, Central Chitlom, Central Embassy and Gaysorn. It is also adjacent to Chidlom BTS Skytrain Station so you can easily head out and explore Bangkok too ! For my stay here, I booked their Grand Deluxe Room. Certainly an ideal spot to chill and enjoy a refreshing swim after an exciting day shopping and sightseeing around the area. Also from the 37th floor, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the urban Bangkopk cityscape. - Explore and marvel at the magnificent architecture and artistry within the hotel - Grab a cocktail and finger food from the Oasis Pool Bar - Work it out at their fully equipped Infinity Fitness Centre - Have a quick bite at their Deli Cafe - Enjoy a scrumpulous meal at one of the restaurants like the Fireplace Grill and Bar, Espresso, Summer Palace - Other bars include the Balcony Lounge and Humidor Cigar Bar During your stay, you can also : - Shop at Central World, Central Chitlom, Central Embassy and Gaysorn - Visit the famous Lumphini Park for a morning stroll and enjoy some fresh air amidst the bustling city - Enjoy the nightlife entertainment that is unique to Bangkok. Hotel staff are super friendly, so you can approach them if you need any assistance. Friendly Reminder : Traffic can be congested during peak hours so take the BTS if you intend to move around.
