People's Park in Baoji has stunning ancient architecture. I love the city of Baoji and this park offers views of statues, big buddha statues, pagodas and a beautiful lake. Situated near the center of the city, you can also come here and walk along the river then go to the center to eat some gan mian pi noodles. #baoji

Xi'an is obviously the most famous city in Shaanxi province, however it is also worth visiting Baoji. Getting there: a one hour fast train from Xi'an. There are some classic museums and excellent river walks. Nice pagodas to take photographs of and excellent quaint parks to wonder around. Hotel? Definitely choose Crowne Plaza.
