The Peach Blossom Tribulation in Aosen Peach Blossom Valley

I'd heard about the Peach Blossom Valley in the north section of the Olympic Forest Park for a long time. I didn't make it last year, so I was determined not to miss it this year. Especially after hearing that this weekend was supposed to be the peak of the peach blossom bloom, I excitedly headed there. I was mentally prepared for the crowds on the weekend. After several packed subway rides, waiting through extra-long red lights, experiencing bicycle traffic jams, and following an agile auntie as she weaved through shared bikes, I finally entered the west gate of the north section of the Olympic Forest Park. After another ten-minute walk, I finally reached my destination - Peach Blossom Valley. It was indeed crowded, with people taking pictures wherever there were peach blossom trees, and campers everywhere. The riverside was also full of people. But that wasn't the main problem. The biggest problem was - most of the mountain peach blossoms had already begun to wither! I've never considered crowds to be a problem, as people can also be part of the scenery. The real problem was that what I thought was the peak bloom turned out to be the withering period! Many peach blossom trees along the bank had very few flowers left, barely recognizable as peach blossoms. The river was also filled with fallen petals, and there were many petals under the trees as well... I walked along the winding river, and there were only a few mountain peach trees in full bloom. Most of them were already withered. It might be due to the unusual weather and the rapid temperature rise in the past two days that the peach blossoms withered early... Well, I can say I've been to Aosen Peach Blossom Valley and witnessed its "grand occasion." But after all that traveling, I didn't get to see the legendary beauty. It was truly a peach blossom tribulation! PS: Take Exit C of Lincuiqiao Station on Subway Line 8, go north all the way to the west gate of the north section of the Olympic Forest Park. After entering, turn right, cross the bridge, and continue walking east for about ten minutes to reach Peach Blossom Valley. As for whether or not it's worth the crowds, it's up to you.
