Hongqiao Market

We went twice as we found it was the best market for souveirs. There are also lots of scarves, bags, shoes, clothes, electronics, watches, jewellery to choose from. The higher floors have more souvenirs and chinese art. Test out your haggling skills, you win some, you lose some. Most vendors speak a little English - enough to make a sale! There is also a food court in the basement which is cheap and a good selection of food. You just have to pick up a top up card from the cashier first and then you can go to any stall to choose your food and get a refund from your top up card from the cashier when you're done.
