Lake Days and Mountain Air at Charvak Reservoir

#summervacay Exploring around Lake Charvak in Bostanlyk District, Uzbekistan, was the perfect mix of chill and scenic. The lake is huge, surrounded by gorgeous green mountains that make you feel like you’re in some kind of nature movie. We drove along the shoreline and kept stopping at random little spots because the views were just too good not to. The water’s this crazy blue green color, super pretty, and there were people out boating, swimming, or just sunbathing along the rocky shore. It’s definitely a popular weekend escape, but it didn’t feel too crowded, just good summer energy. We found a tiny cafe by the water, grabbed some shashlik and cold drinks, and just sat there enjoying the breeze. You can also hike a bit around the hills if you’re feeling active, or just chill by the lake and do nothing (which is what we mostly did). Whether you're coming from Tashkent or already nearby, it’s such an easy, refreshing day trip. Pure nature vibes!
