The whole atmosphere here is relaxed and comfortable. It is perfect for people who like to exercise, take pictures, picnic, walk and drink coffee. It is a haven for a small trip in the city. Recommended tour routes: Entering the park from the London Road gate, you can walk all the way north along Kyoto Avenue, where there are plenty of benches on both sides of the tree-lined avenue, suitable for resting and enjoying the surrounding scenery. A slow stroll reveals open garden areas and a rose garden with large historic Preston Twins trees (the oldest elm in the UK!), where many locals are used to for morning exercise or dog walks. All the way to the north there is also a children's playground, and large areas of playing and practicing running grass.
