Cliffside View at Ermita de Santa Justa

#summervacay Ermita de Santa Justa is one of those “wait, is this real?” kind of places. It’s a tiny chapel built right into the cliff, just above Playa de Santa Justa. Like, literally carved into the rock with waves crashing right below it. Super unique and kinda magical. The walk to get there is short and sweet, with coastal views the whole way. The beach itself is quiet and peaceful, with golden sand and cool rock formations all around. Not really the spot for swimming, but perfect for sitting on the rocks and just soaking in the ocean vibe. The hermitage is small but really cool to see up close. You can feel the history in the stone walls, and the whole area just has this calm, peaceful energy. It’s not a big touristy place, which makes it feel even more special. Definitely worth the stop if you’re road tripping around Cantabria and want a little moment of beachside zen.
