| Changxing Fancied Grassland Resort Hotel. Generally, I wouldn't choose a hotel that mainly caters to families, but I had the opportunity to stay here because of a company arrangement. It's a three-hour drive from Shanghai, and the surrounding area is quite remote, with basically nothing around. This essentially means that the main activity area is within the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel is large and has many activities, so it's not boring. The lobby is very poorly designed, it's small and feels like a market when it's crowded, especially with children around, which gives a very bad first impression. However, the overall ecology of the hotel is good, with lush greenery, large lawns in public areas, and tea mountains as a feature. The hotel rooms are basically surrounded by mountains, and they are mostly single wooden houses, which are very private. When the weather is good, the view of the tea garden is really beautiful. It's a bit strenuous to walk around the hotel on your own. The restaurant, swimming pool, and gym are all in the main building, and the parking lot is a bit further out from the main building. So, if you're going from your room to the restaurant or other areas, you basically rely on the shuttle bus. You can also rent the hotel's electric mini motorbike to stroll around nearby. The overall road is quite narrow, with many uphill and downhill roads. The pool is 12-15 meters, with many children. The gym equipment is basic, and not many people use it. 1 The room type is a canopy villa, with the bedroom and living room connected, and the overall space is quite open. The kitchen has an induction cooker, range hood, and refrigerator, and the facilities are quite complete. The overall maintenance condition is acceptable, but it's obviously been a few years since it was last occupied. It was raining on the day, and I didn't use the balcony outside the room. If the weather is good, it's a pretty large activity space. The hotel caters to families, and the room is equipped with a toy rocking horse, a small stool for washing hands, and a folding clothes rack, which is quite thoughtful. There are no children's specific toiletries. The hotel's meals can be said to have no highlights. The restaurant where you order meals is just like a farmhouse, I ate there once at noon and decided to go out and find private home cuisine for dinner. The next day, the buffet restaurant was crowded at eight-thirty, and there were very few types of meals. Anyway, I don't recommend the restaurant overall.
