[Chengdu] I love this century-old hotel brand so much.

I checked in at Fairmont Chengdu Palm Springs. As the only Fairmont hotel in Southwest China, I fell in love with this underrated luxury brand on my first stay. The modern design and Bashu culture are perfectly integrated, and the details everywhere are full of surprises. [Location and Transportation] Located in the core business district of southern Chengdu, the hotel is only a 50-meter walk from the subway exit. Chengdu's financial and Internet industries are basically nearby, which is very convenient for business travelers. It is only a 3-minute drive from Chengdu SKP, and the hotel also provides free concierge shuttle service. [Room Facilities] The revolving door leads to the lobby with a high ceiling, with a huge Shu embroidery landscape painting, which is magnificent. The swimming pool and gym are located on the fourth floor, with complete facilities, large space, and a good view. The room was upgraded to a Gold Suite with 270-degree panoramic glass, overlooking the straight Tianfu Avenue in Chengdu. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas and has a bathtub, and there is a large walk-in closet. The Sealy mattress is very comfortable, and I slept well. The room is equipped with a coffee machine and tea set, and three capsules are provided. The best part is that the toiletries are from Le Labo!! They smell so good! ! ! Catering Service The concierge is online, and the doorman will take the initiative to help open the car door and carry luggage. The front desk lady is enthusiastic and professional and will take the initiative to introduce various facilities and times. The breakfast experience was impressive, and the manager Nick Wang provided excellent service. The hostess took the initiative to introduce the restaurant's specialties. Breakfast includes freshly squeezed juice, delicious pastries, and Chengdu specialties such as Dandan noodles and sweet water noodles. The lounge is located on the 31st floor, with a spiral staircase that is perfect for taking photos. The lounge offers delicious afternoon tea desserts and a wide variety of drinks in the evening.
