Longquanshan Urban Forest Park | The Lungs of the City, a Natural Treasure

Longquanshan Urban Forest Park is a large urban forest park located in the Longquan Mountains in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It covers an area of about 1,275 square kilometers and involves five districts and counties: Tianfu New Area, Chengdu Eastern New Area, Longquanyi District, Qingbaijiang District, and Jintang County. The park is mainly composed of low hills, with undulating terrain and a maximum altitude of 1,051 meters. Due to its rich natural resources and unique geographical location, the park belongs to the subtropical humid climate zone and has water scenery such as Sancha Lake and Longquan Lake, as well as cultural and historical buildings and facilities such as Luodai Ancient Town, Wufengxi Ancient Town, Yunding Stone City, Beizhou Wenwang Stele, and Ancient Post Road. With its unique natural scenery and cultural resources, the park has become an important eco-tourism destination in Chengdu. The Danjingtai Scenic Area in the park is a landmark building in the park. It is golden red in color, with a spiral path up the mountain, forming a circular curve in the center. The highest center is inlaid with the pattern of the Sun God Bird, and it is also a large 360° viewing platform. In addition, the Sancha Lake Tourist Area includes 27 square kilometers of water, 113 islands, and 165 peninsulas, and is a lake-type and mountain-type composite tourist resort.
