I originally just wanted to find an accommodation that was close to the airport and convenient, but I didn’t expect that this Enford Hotel would surprise me a bit. It takes less than 15 minutes by taxi from Cheongju Airport to the hotel, which is a lifesaver for me who just got off the plane and dragged my luggage. The hotel's exterior and public spaces feel like they were recently renovated, and are clean and modern, especially the lobby which is bright and textured. The staff was very friendly during check-in. We had no problem communicating in English. They also took the initiative to help us adjust the check-in time to an early one (originally scheduled for 3pm, but we were allowed into the room at 12pm), which was a real plus! The room was generally comfortable, but there were a few minor drawbacks: the air conditioning didn't seem to be very effective, with the temperature in the room reaching 30 degrees at night. Fortunately, it improved after I asked the front desk to deal with it; the bathroom was newly renovated, but the smell was a bit pungent, which might be a problem with the detergent or ventilation. But I still give it a good score for overall cleanliness. The facilities nearby are superb. Downstairs is the Homeplus hypermarket, and supermarket lovers will go crazy for it. There are also many cafes, breakfast shops, 24-hour convenience stores, and even nightclubs across the street and in the alleys, so you can find everything you need for a good lifestyle. If you like to eat local food like me and don't want to go too far, this place is really suitable The best part is that there is a bus stop right at the door, which takes you directly to the city center business district, so you don’t have to worry about transportation at all. Although this trip was quite tight, I would still like to stay here again if I come to Cheongju next time. ⚠️ Tips: It is recommended to bring your own universal plug or borrow one from the counter The air conditioning in the room is average. You can check the equipment status after check-in. Some floors are still under renovation.
