🔹The Chongqing People's Auditorium is a world-renowned building built under the supervision of Deng Xiaoping, Liu Bocheng, He Long and other older generation revolutionaries. It is the symbol of Chongqing and the most influential landmark building, and a national key cultural relic protection unit. 🔹It is majestic and magnificent, and is a masterpiece that cleverly combines the traditional Chinese palace architectural style with the large-span structure of Western architecture. Designed by Mr. Zhang Jiade, a famous Chinese architect, it was built in 1951. The main entrance archway is rich in traditional national architectural style, with unique shape, harmonious layout, and exquisite paintings and carvings. 🔹The main part of the auditorium imitates the modeling art of Tiananmen Square and the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The north and south wings are equipped with long pillared buildings, which use the hillside terrain to divide the platform. It has green glazed tiles, bright red pillars, white railings, double eaves, carved beams and painted buildings, symmetrical pavilions, and different shapes of beasts. 🔹In 2016, it was selected into the “First Batch of Chinese 20th Century Architectural Heritage” list. 📷Photography tips: 1.
