Botanical Garden of Curitiba

#thingstodo These gardens are quite nicely set out and the flowers, particularly orchids, are nice to see if one visits in season. On this trip we were out of seasn but we were more fortunate when we visited in April 2018. There are also some exotic birds and other wildlife to be seen. Altogether a nice place to visit. Free entrance. Washrooms. Could be improved by providing filtered water. Can buy the 26 touristic stops bus for 50 reals. I suggest to start here as you will want to spend at least 3hrs here. It is one of the top botinaca gardens I've witnessed. After spending your day then buy your pass as it will last 24hrs. Activate it the next day because you will want to stay the whole afternoon. It is that good! A masterpiece. Other countries or cities should really learn from them. They can also improve the mirador top point by either cleaning the windows or opening a window to allow a mirante picture. My top garden I've visited in south and Central America. The postcard of Curitiba, this is definitely a must for any visit. You'll have a great time even if it's not your first, considering how much of renovation always goes on with new areas, landscapes and animals. Lovely place for a stroll, relaxation and contemplation of nature. This simbolizes why Curitiba is called the Eco-capital of Brazil.
