A must-visit bakery in Daejeon!

If you're in Daejeon, you absolutely have to check out Seongsimdang! Daejeon is known for its diverse food options, and among them, Seongsimdang stands out as one of the most famous spots. It's so iconic that you could even call Daejeon the city of Seongsimdang. There are numerous Seongsimdang branches scattered throughout the city, and every store seems to have long lines of customers. I was genuinely surprised by its popularity! This was my first time visiting Daejeon and Seongsimdang, and I was blown away by the incredible taste and high quality of their baked goods. If you ever plan a trip to Daejeon, I highly recommend visiting Seongsimdang. While the main store is a must-see, there are plenty of branches around the city that are just as good. The main store often has extremely long waiting times, so you might want to consider visiting one of the branches instead. Among the baked goods I tried, the salt bread and the chocolate-topped bread were absolutely delicious. I also had the fried Soboro bread, which was amazing. The fried chive Soboro bread was particularly memorable. I hope you get a chance to try these treats when you visit!
