Coming here in the day also offers great scenes of the Singapore skyline but it can be quite hot since it’s on the rooftop. That’s why I suggest you come in the evening or at night instead as it’s more cooling and you get to watch the city light up the night sky! There are no tall buildings directly surrounding the Esplanade so you get to see panoramic views up to quite a distance, especially Marina Bay Sands.
